One day in Sartene - Sartene [Corsica]

My biggest doubt, about going to this little town was: how do I pronounce its name? In French, it's pronounced Sartène, in Corsican, Sartè and in Italian Sartena or Sartene. So we used them all. 😅😂
From Bonifacio, you'll take the T40, and drive for one hour to arrive. From Ajaccio, also on the T40, it will take around one hour and a half.
The centre of Sartène is truly a gem here in Corsica. Well-preserved alleys with stone houses and buildings will enchant you during your stay. In the town centre, you'll find a lot of cafes, shops and restaurants with local cuisine.
We arrived on a hot summer day. So it wasn't a surprise to us to find the town very empty. During these summer months, every Thursday they organised a shopping night. We were lucky to be there on a Thursday. This little town came to life. We still don't know where all those people came from. 😂😂
