Hiii Me and my friends are planning to trek here tomorrow And if i check in webiste its saying no slots avaliable. I even checked for couple of other days and for all days its showing no slots available...(even for November month)... Can we trek now is it closed And can we go there without booking? A quick reply is appreciated as it helps us decide on our tmr trek Thank you.

Karnataka Eco-Tourism has stopped giving permission to hikes as of now. The reason is unknown, some trek planners say that there is some technical issue, some say it is because of monsoon. But some of the treks like Bananthimari Betta, which doesn't need permission - even they are closed by the forest department. Best solution is to go to trek which doesn't need permission and there are other hills nearby (just in case you dont get permit for the one you planned for).
