well, I am new to one D and their voices, except zayn and harry coz i listen them. But now i got to know, Louis has that voice which brightens the chorus, Liam sings the falsettos, harry the in-liners like "yeah"s "oh"s, Zayn the high notes ofcourse and sometimes when he gets off the original song ig and sings his own additional melodies, and Nial is always with a Guitar. @@arpitsrivstva yeah, its pretty close, but you should listen to some more 1D music to understand their uniqueness is not only as a band members, but also as individuals. Yeah, Niall can play guitar but thats not the only definition of him. If you will listen albums from up all night to made in the a.m. you will notice how it transforms and its beautiful. I think Liam has the widest vocal range, Zayn's high notes are masterpiece such as his velvet chest voice, Harry's voice is vary flexible and strong, his high and low notes are amazing. Louis' voice is the most underappreciated and that's sad because even though its not that flexible and wide ranged, its still very pure and gentle. I red his interview from 2017 and I was so fucking sad afterwards. He said he knows that he is not the best in the band. But it's so not true. His songs are so emotional and honest. I wouldn't like them if anyone else would sing them, honestly. So... Yes. I believe in Louis Tomlinson supremacy ✨ thanks for coming to my Ted talk

Usually, people don't think of Niall as one who does high notes, but if you pay really close attention during their live performances, he actually does a lot of the highest harmonies with his beautiful falsetto. A lot of people don't realize that he even sings the highest harmony in What Makes You Beautiful. And it's pretty dang high.

As someone who is super interested in harmonising, this whole video the only person I kept paying attention to was Liam, he literally was doing all the difficult harmonising and recognising which key was missing He literally does so many different notes in this clip, his range is huge For example to show exactly what I mean, listen to 1:18 Normally Harry, Zayn and Liam harmonise here, but Liam started to laugh and stopped and you could hear it didn't sound like a harmonised part, zayn was much higher and Harry lower, then 1:06 for comparison he's the one responsible for recognising which key is needed to harmonise Example 2 Hes doing the very difficult high key on his own here 2:23 Example 3 I literally have no words from his harmonising skills from 2:40 - 3:14 and his solo high note in night changes, its so beautiful He's the guy singing baby a little longer if you can't differentiate If anyone needs more proof he's by far the best at harmonising 4:13, he's keeping tempo and literally showing you whose leading, but this whole story of my life is Zayn and Liam

Liam has said that Louis' parts are actually the hardest to cover because they are so chorus heavy, and he has such a big voice, even on the high notes. Notice that Louis doesn't have to slip into falsetto to reach those high notes, so he can maintain full vocal strength. That's part of what 'lifts' their choruses and makes them sound so big. He is an important part of their sound. He rarely gets appropriate credit for that.

2:40 that‘s what I find so remarkable. They all look miserable (Zayn and Louis are so thin, Harry‘s eyes etc, so they were just so overworked it is horrible) but still they managed to perform this beautiful song so beautifully.
