It’s scary how many fans these guys had and still have. Liam spoke about how manic things were whilst in the band, he highlighted some low points, but he also mention that they had fun. Their experience just seems like these incredible highs and heartbreaking lows. But that’s the life of global superstars.

This is like just scary. I had never seen this compilation before. Fans are... I mean, hysterical and fainting I can understand, even wanting to jump on stage. Cause meeting/seeing someone you're a huge fan of at a young age will get you emotions everywhere and your rational mind will go away. But all the rest? OMG. No and no. I still can't get over the fact fans actually threw things on stage. I watched numerous fan clips from their last tour and it was always a lot of stuff!! It was not fluffy soft things either and even if it had been that can also poke your eye out if you don't see it coming. Security should have stopped the concerts tbh. They did after all get hurt on stage. Fans also tried to break into their hotels or finding out where they were staying through social media and updates accounts were constantly keeping tabs on them and where they were via twitter. Some of them have had stalkers break into their homes. Fans hacked security footage on airports just to see what they were up to, they hacked the boys and their families emails and what not because of the same need to I dunno, find something. No wonder the boys felt/feels threatened and like they had no control over their lives. This is why they were basically locked inside their hotels whenever they were on tour. It was the only way to keep them safe. It was and is a scary world to be a celebrity. It's just a lot. :o

I agree💯💯💯 Some of it is excessive. Like breaking in and stalking is crazy. I can understand fans going mad😂😂 coz it’s their idols. But foreal it’s peak for boys as they go through it everyday prob why they split up.

@@PREMREACTS Oh, I def understand fans going mad. I've met actors I was a big fan of and OMG, I was shaking actually. Such a weird feeling even if it was just a quick autograph session. It's just that to me it seems fans always blame management for them breaking up. But things are never that black and white, like it's never just one thing when things gets to be too much. The fandom they found themselves in definitely affected them too as in they can't be truly private ever again. It's still a very active fandom (albeit smaller) despite them being over for 6 years now. That right there tells you a lot. It's why they don't want to share their personal lives any more and mostly just post things regarding their music or work related things. It's rare we get anything else. But like Liam did that in depth interview just a few days ago (if you haven't watched it I recommend it, it's long but really great interview) which really made you see it from his POV. And he even said people in their management had to go seek help and therapy as it was such an intense whirlwind. Fame has it's fair share of dark sides but they had of course great and amazing things happening too otherwise they would not have continued to to be solo artists and some of them don't seem to mind sharing fond memories of 1D either. I love when we get to hear those moments. You clearly see how they each have gone about it in slightly different ways. Only Harry is really still the most well known with a massive media attention. It can't be easy but it's also not enough for him to not want to do it. The others are able to be a little more private while still doing music or other things of their interest. For something funny I'd love to watch a reaction to Louis recent cooking segment. It's very short, 4-5 min, and was a challenge thing for charity. Full Time Meals on IG. It's all over youtube as well. It's hilarious (or tragic) how obviously clueless he is in a kitchen. :o
