Maggie Mitchell They never claimed to be perfect role models. The admitted that they'd probably make mistakes along the way. They are only human. Also, I know several people who do drugs or drink and it doesn't make them bad people. They're bound to make mistakes, and as long as they learn from them, I will forgive. Also, people constantly change. Are you the same person you were nearly 5 years ago? Keep in mind these are young guys. EVERY boy goes through a rebellious stage growing up. My father has, my brother currently is. These guys just so happen to have their lives broadcast so everyone can see. Just things to keep in mind. They aren't the teenagers they once were, but they still have the same hearts.

but wow 2012/2013 really was one direction’s prime. i really miss how crazy it was back then!!! how we’d wake up early in the mornings just to catch them live in interviews like this one, how we’d camp outside venues to see them, how we’d unite and basically rule every social media site there is. the hype was REAL. and there’s something so nostalgic about these times ‘cause it really was so fun being able to watch these boys grow up, even if so many things have changed. but i admit i’ve lost a little love for many of my other idols/artists i once admired and i find the fandom a little toxic now than before but i couldn’t see myself not loving these boys. they’re just still so humble and special and one of a kind. i love how they’ve grown into great artists with their individual styles but i can’t help but miss how close they used/seemed to be back then. anyway 1d was just such a dream for me as a teen growing up and going through puberty (remember the first time u listened to diana and felt they were talking directly to u????? ‘cause yes same) and it’s cliché but they were/are a huge part of my childhood. i’d be there in a heartbeat the minute they announce a reunion. i mean, who wouldn’t
