This version is beautiful, and as a big Niall fan haha, I love that you can hear him doing the higher harmony so clearly during the 1st chorus 💖. They all sound amazing but Liam was killing it. The acoustic version of this song always hits harder! also, niall performed its acoustic version at his show in Amsterdam on 28th March, it was beautiful ✨

I'm usually the kind of person that wants to see things chronologically starting with the first album and see their evolution that way... but I'm wondering, since you will soon have seen all their solo work, if starting with their last album and working your way back instead might work for you? Unless you prefer to start at the beginning of course. It's just mainly because I think 1D's last album have all these different kind of songs/sounds that you can almost see how that developed/influenced their first solo album and the jump back to 1D's first album is a huge difference. but then again, if you've seen "This is us" then you've heard some of those early songs already. That documentary was so great! Naww. One day I'll see your reaction to it. Just not now. I feel I can only follow one patreon at a time and I already follow one at the moment.

My fav by 1D is Story of my life. It's the first song I heard by them that I really loved. And yk. Once I've decided on a fav I rarely change my opinion no matter how many songs I may like after. I mean, nothing can really beat that first feeling of discovery if you get what I mean.

Yes, this performance was truly magical. There's hardly anything I can fault in this version, and everyone has their time to show what they can do, which unfortunately isn't the case in other songs. I don't know how people came to the conclusion that some of them couldn't sing and then belittled them... Anyway, my favorite One Direction song is definitely Fool's Gold 💕

The acoustic version is definetly also one of my favourites. It is just such a good song. I have heard it live from both Louis and Niall. It was fantastic.
