One Directions "Perfect" was a fun song because I had an Army Vet who has served in 4 tours as my guest reactor. He is a really fun and positive guy and that is why I invited him. I am going to have him do more reactions to some of your songs. It will be fun.

This song would be what their relationships were like. When you are on the road 9 months a year, staying in hotels and need to sneak around unseen at night to get out with anyone, this song sums it up. Very hard to make any commitments with that lifestyle. It's actually very honest.

One Direction was formed as a five person boy band in 2010 during the British version of the X-Factor. The original members were four British lads Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles & Louis Tomlinson, and one Irish lad Niall Horan. Zayn departed from the band in March 2015, and the other four members continued to perform as One Direction until December 2015. The song "Perfect" (released in October 2015) is from their last album (their 5th), "Made In The A.M." It's sung without Zayn by the four remaining band members, because he left before their last album was recorded. So, in the video the four band members are either being interviewed by the female or she is their assistant at the round table in the hotel room. It's not five guys vying for her attention. Just a little summary as far as I know about them.

The lyrics is more about the fact that for their job they will be in hotel rooms and place they can't even pronounce. Also the part where H says "And if you like cameras flashin' every time we go out And if you're looking for someone to write your breakup songs about Baby, I'm perfect" It's about their lifestyle and being famous and not be able to promise a private or "like others" relationship. Btw i like your reaction. ❤️

Harry and Taylor Swift were a thing once. She writes a lot of songs about Harry and her relationships as all artists do. This was sort of a nod to that. There are songs that we like more than others and there are some people who don't like all the songs.

The video is trying to show us how their lives are, practically living in hotel rooms, and the song reflect that too, Louis and Harry wrote the song and they saying that they are struggling with having a stable relationship cause they never in the same place for more than 2 months, they don't have time, etc.

Have you reacted to Steal My Girl yet? I can't recall. If not, that is a great video with a lot of production and stars Danny Devito, who is pretty funny in the video. The video has absolutely nothing to do with the song (like many of their videos) but is just really fun. It's a great song too! I generally am not a big fan of music videos (there are some that I enjoy) and would much rather see a live performance, but I do enjoy watching this one. As an aside, my favorite music video of all time (no, it's not Video Killed the Radio Star, although I am old enough to remember when it came out!) is You and Me by Dave Matthews Band (also one of my favorite bands/musicians of all time). It just has such a happy vibe and you can't help but smile when watching it! You should check it out!

🤣 Doubt the girl has anything to do with the lyrics. MV is only relevant because they are in a hotel. I'd say the song is about one night stands. I would be extremely surprised if that didn't happen in this band at some point in their history. Edit. The girl is actually a person that had interviewd them a couple of times and got asked to be in the video. With the way that section was filmed it could have been how some of their interviews could have happened. The video is showing how their life could look like, alone in hotel rooms basically and it can't be easy for any person in the spotlight to go out and just date. Secret rendevouze to avoid paps would be the norm for them. This is not a fav song but I do like the sound of it. I vibe to it! Great reaction and it was fun to have 2 of you.
