About budget, once in an interview Louis was asked something like ‘if you had unlimited budget for a MV what would do you?’ And he just answered that being in 1D actually meant having unlimited budget, as you mentioned for the drag me down MV. They also said that they were supposed to have some zero gravity scenes but Niall is claustrophobic so they didn’t do it. But yeah, endless budget PS I don’t know if you did it because of copyright issue or any other reason, but the light in the background in the far right of the shot makes it almost impossible to see that part of the MV, maybe you can check it out next time?

I pretty much had the same reaction as you the first time I watched it. I was like, wait, what, why? *confusion* lol. Now I love it for how random and chaotic it is. The behind the scenes video is funny too. Also about the view thing you mentionned, 1D reuploaded all of their music videos in HQ for their 10th anniversary in 2020. So there are two versions of each one, the reuploads have way less views obviously so if you watched that one that can explain it. The original one is close to 400 million views I think, which is wtill nowhere near Drag Me Down but yeah.

Their producer, Ben Winston said this song was the hardest to shoot because he couldn't come up with a concept that related to the lyrics of the song. That's why it looks so random and a lot going on. It was a fun video but the hardest to shoot. His words during an interview with the boys.

It’s to destroy and then use the destroyed elements to create and improve something ok, my head worked overtime. I think it’s actually what Solo. Harry did. What he offers is new high quality music.
