This MV is very very good as you´ve said, very original. Louis has lost so many people in his life, it´s heart breaking. Last song was History in 2015. All this songs are even better live! I'm happy you're continuing to watch 1D boys. I always enjoy it!

ive always just interpreted the “her” in the song as memories. also this was 2013 about 2 years before they split. their “goodbye, ill see you later” song to themselves and the fans was a song called history.

Yes. You are correct. Every one was their actual family members. With Louis. Not only did he lose his grandparents. He lost his mother who also sitting on the sofa and one of his sisters not long after.

In the mv, Louis had to do more takes bc he got upset from showing his lost grandparents. Years later he wrote the song “Two of Us” - I thought you did a reaction but I couldn’t find it! - when his mum, Johannah (Jay), passed away from cancer. Not long after the song was released, one of his younger sisters, Felicite (Fizzy) also died.

This is the song that made me discover 1D. It’s from 2013 and their third album (out of 5). They uploaded a new 4k version of the video for their 10th Anniversary. I love the song and it’s still my fav. Not so much for the lyrics but the beat. Love that sound and their voices. Then the video just made it even more beautiful. They each chose a childhood photo to re-enact and the amount of details to get it right is just stunning. Their song Through the dark, has a similar beat to it. Do give it a listen. Another fav of mine. And Louis does a great solo performance of it in his live stream concert.

One thing I've noticed about One Direction music videos is that they are cinematographically beautiful but don't always relate to the song. So I just listen to the song for its meaning and watch the video to understand what's happening, separately. Here, the video is about the story of their lives where they recreate their childhood pictures. While the meaning of the song is what you read at the end.
