It's ridiculous how people hate on other people just based off of their musical preference. They never said anything in the video that One Direction was better than The Beatles, they were comparing the fans. The Beatles are my favorite group of all time but I do enjoy One Direction and I'm not a little girl either. So there goes that myth that only teeny boppers love them. Oh and I've seen them in concert recently and they were magnificent. Really talented and all of them can sing.

The Beatles are my all time favorite band. I also really enjoy One Direction, and I suppose in ways they may relate to the Beatles., but I still don't think you can compare the two. The Beatles arguably changed the music world. Anyways, The Beatles are rock and One Direction is pop. It's apples and oranges :P

If people like pop singers or boy bands let them be. I have very fond memories of NSYNC and the Backstreet Boys and I still listen to their music. I'm not embarrassed to admit that or to admit that I love 1D. I have seen This is Us and it is a great movie. if people don't like it, them, boy bands, or pop music in general then that's fine but don't insult the people that do.

i'm like super annoyed with all the hate that one direction is getting with people saying they will never have success or they will never be good. because obviously they are i don't care if you feel like the Beatles are bigger and i don't care if you think One Direction is bigger they are both VERY successful boy bands. of course more people will know of the Beatles they have been around longer, while one direction has been known for maybe around 8 years now. when the Beatles first started out i can't imagine that their target audience wasn't teens/early twenties, so don't diss one direction saying that they are only targeted by one audience and then say that the Beatles weren't. normally types of artists are targeting different audiences. k sorry for ranting byeeeee
