But the thing is, even if Louis gets a small part it’s always the one to stand out for me because his voice is already so different than the rest and he’s got that emotional side of his voice whenever he’s singing you just feel it in your soul. It’s like a present whenever he gets a solo because everyone would be waiting for it. This reminds me of their other song “Something Great” where he literally just sings two sentences at the very end of the song and I swear it’d have me sobbing for 10 minutes straight. I don’t even like the song that much but Louis’ voice HITS ME straight in my soul it just destroys me I know I’m so dramatic but I can FEEL what he sings

It also makes me so annoyed cuz in the chorus it’s him and Harry singing yet it the credit is always just given to Harry ( no hate I absolutely live Harry and Louis voices together )

Chloe Waterworth EXACTLY! Especially at 1:53 when he says “somehow” and at 2:44 when he says “In love with you” because Harry stops singing at these parts but you can tell he’s also singing when Harry is. Louis’ so great at harmonizing and he carries choruses so often because his voice is so filling and warming I wish he got more recognition for it.

Yeah, their voices fit SOOO nicely together. They have a similar rasp, but Harry has a lower soft voice and Louis's voice is like... so clear? Louis is definitely underrated. His voice always carries the choruses so beautifully. The music would have been rather dull without him - not like "boring" but sound wise. I'm not any huge old 1d fan but I really think all of their voices fit together exceptionally well. I just watched the old x-factor performances and the blend of their voices was quite striking from the beginning.

Louis is literally singing with Harry but it’s not shown. And even if Louis doesn’t get many parts, he always gets the best ones. You always know when Louis’ is singing. Whenever I jam out to one direction, I’m always singing to the song, but when Louis’ part comes on, I shut up to hear his beautiful voice.

Ok. I need to say this again. I absolutely love and favour their 3 latter albums the most but their second album is not bad IMO. Of course you have to take into account that it's directed at a younger audience (I am not in that target area at all) and the songs were written FOR them not BY them but with that in mind, I think the album is good. Of course not ALL songs but most of them and for me that makes it a good album. I will say I prefer them live though, especially if you watch This is us, the extended version, as it has more songs. That's how I got to know this album and they are just fun and/or beautiful songs. Live just bring them to another level. This song is a bonus track though so no live performance but I love it. Their voices are so beautiful here. Yeah, it's sad how Louis and Niall didn't get to sing a lot in the beginning at all. They were not deemed good enough. :/
