I know you focus on 1/18 scale, but have you compared Robotix with Tonka's Legions of Power? Its a similar design, but the pilots are 1 inch tall. It had build kits and motors too.

I think there's a lot of problems with the white plastic in robotics getting damaged by UV light. It discolors it and makes it brittle. So the same part can be good or bad depending on how it's been stored for the last 30 years.

The plastic still ages and separates even in climate controlled darkness But that pesky sunlight don't help😅

The JP 93' Classic line is awesome, I had so much fun with the JP toys as a kid. The colors, the missiles, the silly accessories and buff muscles. I can tell that the designers are having a fun time designing the line. If I still collected 1/18 I would be all in on this line.

I keep meaning to try to make STL files of a few simple robotics parts just so people can try 3D printing components. Would there be interest?

@@wilhelmtoyandhobby I started my 3d design work by learning to make copies of the individual parts for Micronauts. A bracket here, a connector there, a missile over here. Everything goes in the library and I get more and more parts.
