I’ve been loving watching this channel. I’m not fully understanding the rules of snooker yet but will. I don’t understand why he gets to keep shooting when he misses so many times but read penalty points. Will definitely be looking into it more. So different than pool here in the states.

It prevents players from missing on purpose. So these multiple attempts only occur when the ball-on is not hit first. In all other faults, there is no repetition of the shot. In pool, instead, the severe penalty of ball-in-hand makes deliberate fouls not an option.

When Ronnie's on, his confidence is at it's max and plays a very cut throat game. He sees sequences of shots and tactics not unlike a chess master. He strives to get the most, with the least amount of moves to gain the max. When he's in the "zone" he's a machine. Ding is very aggressive too! He play's too "text book" in my opinion, but he's very smooth in his delivery. With experience and practice, he'll be an intimidator.

Ding is a fine sportsman and an excellent player. He is just unable to close the deal against ROS but it seems to be making him a better player with each try. But for now, ROS has his number, and Ding knows it, ROS knows it, the crowd knows it, and most KZbinrs know it. Ding I am rootin for ya!

I don't get Ding. The guy has _amazing_ cue ball positioning. Can bang in long range shots. Yet at some point in every match he just starts losing focus and missing easy balls.

Because that was a snooker. Four-time rule only applies to situations where you can hit a ball directly.
