▶ How to write a newsletter: A step-by-step framework
Gaurav took us through his ‪@WebEngage‬ newsletter and shared a framework to write a newsletter that your audience would love to read. Here's the breakdown:
1. Pick a theme
The theme must revolve around your niche and your audience. For example, if you're an ESP, you can talk about email marketing, AI in email marketing, trends, etc.
2. Connect your resources
The chosen theme will help you decide which resources will help the reader learn more about it. You can add value by sharing relevant resources in your newsletter and organically drive traffic to those resources.
3. Carry the theme
It's the part where you work on the email newsletter's layout, writing, and structure.
4. End with a nugget
This nugget is a unique section of your newsletter. You can add a trending tweet, share what's happening in the author's life, or give a shoutout.
5. Personify the emails
Make your newsletter more personal by adding your own snapshot. This helps readers know that the email is coming from a real person.
