Also, if a guy were to have stepped in, the two girls would suddenly become best friends and both would attack the guy for intervening, then tell their parents about it and try to get him in trouble as a scapegoat. Oh, this is awesome. A few months ago . . : Two girls are fighting. One has a knife. Cop pulls up and shoots the girl with the knife, thus saving the one without a knife. Result: Public calls him racist and a killer. Today: Two girls are fighting, and the boys stay out of the way. Result: "Why didn't you do anything?!?" What do these people who were saying the boys should have happened if the girl that started beating on the other girl had started punching any boy that stepped in instead? Should he have just stood there and taken the punches? You know damn well that if he had lifted a finger to defend himself they would have been angry about that. Afterall “there’s no reason to hit a woman”. So they expected a boy to step in and stop an obvious violent girl beating on another girl, and if she then starts beating on the boy, to just stand there and take it.

Leaving aside the me-too possibilities, if you try to break up a fight between 2 women you have to subdue both of them completely and simultaneously. If the aggressor is able to punch you it means you're in a fight with a woman, which makes you a Bad Man. If you restrain the aggressor, the victim might start hitting her, in which case you are causing violence against women and you are a Bad Man. Act sensibly with the constraints of a mad world.

Its an American public school. Teachers do the absolute minimum that they can get away with and that includes stopping fights. I've seen them just shout from the front of the class in similar situations, so as feeble as this ones efforts were, and the were bleedin awful, at least she did try.

As a white American who went to public school, I just want to confirm: Yes, our schools really are that bad in the cities. I was blessed to be raised in a small town, where you master basic arithmetic in 3rd grade, but my mother grew up in New Jersey and spent her sophomore year in high school teaching the rest of her class how to read "Dick and Jane." She had been excited to start Shakespeare, but too bad! This is 'Merica, and only she and one of her classmates could even write their own names. At age 16.

I've been thoroughly reminded that _all_ (not both anymore) genders are 100% equal. But, all these people suggesting that the boys should step in, are they implying that women are weaker?
