Harry, you're videos have long been a greatly enjoyable thing for me. Calming, well explained, and showing off the various hobbies and passions you have as well as their historic context. I've had many conversations with folks at my local makerspace who've never heard of green woodworking before, and turned them onto the concepts of how bodgers and the like achieved such nice results without power tools and it's always fun to see someone light up when they get it for the first time that you can approach woodworking in a fundamentally different way when you work it green and don't need everything turned into a kiln dried dimensional lumber stock before starting. All the best, it's always a treat when you get another video up.

It is admirable that you share your intricately studied skills and crafts with the curious amongst us. Handiwork and detail to a subject endeavor are now nearly lost to our "modern" way of living. Thanks for sharing. 👍👍👏👏

Wonderfully inspiring as ever. I like the idea of green wood carving in situ, as some landcsape painters do, only with knives instead of easel and paint 😊

Just to say since my last comment a day ago ,I did some research and bought a cylindrical die cutting machine,I am at the moment trying to work out how to make the base for it.Thank you very much for your videos they are very enjoyable indeed!
@harryrogers3 ай бұрын
Hello, your machine may be different but I mounted mine on a small workbench and bolted it down, for the cutting base to protect your cutter I used thick leather, and softer kitchen nylon cutting boards....Good luck with yours.

Hello Harry, You are living a healthy life definitely, may God bless you and your family always. I watch your videos from Pakistan regularly. I am always waiting for your leather crafting related videos when you will come up with new best innovative leather crafting vlogs with beautiful smart tools. I always miss these innovative tools in Pakistan. if I have to order leather crafting tools from outside the country in Pakistan, it is not possible for me because the expenses in dollars and pounds as for as Pakistani ruppies are very high because of high inflation rate in Pakistan, so I run my work with a local tools and fulfill my hobby.

I've seen these dolls in American museums, including the Smithsonian. Looking at them there as a girl myself made me understand that even toys are part of History. What a wonderful item to bring back, especially made completely traditionally as you do. As usual, well done, Harry! (I like the birdies, too.)

Harry I bought one of your belts 5 and half years ago and I've worn it every day since. It's still going strong but I'd quite like to buy 1 or 2 more, or perhaps send this one back to you for a refurb (if that's a thing). Do you have any plans to reopen the shop or do the odd order? Thanks, Alex
@harryrogers5 ай бұрын
Hello Alex, that's great to hear, it's worth using some leatger conditioning from time to time, such as Effax leather balsam. I am sorry I am not going to be reopening the shop, sadly I have far less energy now and something has to go, but thanks very much for your message. Best wishes Harry
