Hey, much sympathy to you for suffering with stroke effects. Typing with one hand is a very important skill for many of us who may not have use of the other hand.

Sir how to type capital letters with one hand typing,,how to press shift key ☹️😩
@timmystips3935 Жыл бұрын
So depending on which hand you're using, you use your index finger for one shift key, and your pinky for the other shift key. Understand you do have to stretch your hand. If you have small hands it'll be tricky. I know it's annoying but maybe push the caps lock for the letter you want, then take caps lock off. It's an extra step but you'll get much faster as time goes on.

Thank you for these tips,Timmy.I'm learning with right hand only. Suggestions?I'm trying reverse engineering.
@timmystips39355 жыл бұрын
Powerpopulist That’s great that you’re trying! So the only big change (and it’s good that you’re learning) is that my pinky hits everything on the left side of the keyboard, and you will use your index finger. Your finger (like my pinky) will have to cover everything: numbers 1,2,3,4, Caps lock and Tab, qwer / asd / shift zxc. That’s a lot but practice makes perfect. Thanks for watching! GL

Thanks for great work and your creatively improvement. Unlike yours of left hand 🖐, Can you suggest anyhow with wich a left hand disabled person could control the Querty keyboard by right hand 🤚 ?
@timmystips39354 жыл бұрын
yeah, it's just reversed... it's a bit tricky for me b/c I don't have my right hand, but think about placing your thumb on the space bar, index finger on the F, your pinky on the J, and then you'll use your pinky to hit the enter key. Your index finger will have to cover the entire left side of the keyboard, which I use my pinky for. Just start typing simple sentences, or groups of words: "I went to the store today." Over and over....

Hi Timmy! Thanks for this video. What kind of keyboard do you use and is it mechanical? Do you have a favorite keyswitch? Have A great day!

Kirk Cross Hey Kirk, glad you enjoyed it . Yes it’s mechanical - that type are the only good ones... mine is a Rosewill K9000. It really is awesome. I got one for work too.

@timmystips39353 жыл бұрын
Practice, practice, and more practice. And if course patience. You can use any speed typing site, although I recommend using a typing book because it teaches you how to look away from the screen - develops your skills that much better. Rather than just typing and finding errors immediately. You need to feel a wrong keystroke, not look at it.

The book that he mentioned in the beginning costs $50 on Amazon, not $5 to $10.

Anthony Frank Dude, relax - it’s $18.70 on the Book Depositary site. Don’t know why it’s so much on Amazon... it was closer to $15 last year.

wow strange recommendation lol
@timmystips39353 жыл бұрын
What was strange? That I recommended a typing book? Sure you can learn online, but typing from a book is just as good if not better - it trains you to look at the paper instead of the screen.
