Been going through one of the hardest times of my life after one of my best friends committed suicide pretty much stopped working and picked up the bottle again a few months down the road I’ve just started to get my life back on track pretty much quit drinking and am back to work. When I was putting down my sub flooring for my current job this song came on today and it just gave me a really good vibe and put me back in a good mood I haven’t been in for a long time. Things are looking up , I miss you everyday brother Rest easy Gib

Whenever I hear this song, I think of my friend Matt. It was his favorite '90s song. We unfortunately drifted apart after he moved away, which I've always regretted. Loved that guy, he always knew how to cheer me up when I was feeling down. Miss you, Matt! This song is pretty good.

Now I will continue to listen it now that I know the name.. I had to keeping humming it until some of the lyrics came to my mind and I finally found it‼️‼️😭😭

"I'm so alone and I feel just like somebody else man, I ain't changed, but I know I ain't the same." Also hit home. I lost my mother how I got that car with one head light. For everyone bugging out about the meaning behind the song... Any art is open to your interpretation but here is what the artist intended: Jakob Dylan: "I tend to write with a lot of metaphors and images, so people take them literally. The song's meaning is all in the first verse. It's about the death of ideas. The first verse says, 'The death of the long broken arm of human law.' At times, it seems like there should be a code among human beings that is about respect and appreciation. I wasn't feeling like there was much support outside the group putting together the record. In the chorus, it says, 'C'mon try a little.' I didn't need everything to get through, I could still get through - meaning 'one headlight."

Lots to be said for a not-complex song or song structure, with a VERY good rhythm section. You'll always work if you can do that well. Not much call for very busy parts. or constantly busy players. Sounds like a Tom Petty song. isn't it cool you can have this called up and playing just from Googling the lyrics. It'll be playing again before the 1st one is over.
