I just bought the 2022 Camry TRD and I love it! Plenty of power and very awesome handling. I got mine in the Windchill Pearl with the black roof. Overall I am very happy with this car and I just came out of a 2015 Subaru STI. Just a tiny bit slower than the STI and no turbo lag to deal with.

I already loved the new XSE Camry so this is like icing on the cake. I remember seeing the new Camry in a dealership when it first came out and was pleasently surprised. Toyota has gotten a lot of unnecisary flack for many years. I am glad that Akio Toyoda declared "no more boring cars." 👍

Well Megan and a couple other companies provided me with handling braces, accessories etc. Then I let my local Toyota Dealer service departments inspect/try them out. A little extra brace here and there for cheap dollars produces noticeable results for even novice drivers.

I genuinely have no idea why people feel this way about Toyotas, I had an '07 Camry with the V6 and that was way faster than you'd have expected. The new TRD I got is faster but all the V6 Camrys I've been in are pretty quick, plus even the 4 cylinder AWD models are pretty quick

LogicalSense LOL quality of Honda has gone DOWN. All turbo engines are prone to fuel dilution where the oil and fuel mix, causing premature engine wear. Honda Odyssey transmissions are prone to problems. Built quality is NOT the same. I did work for Honda during the Canadian autoshow, and we had a BRAND NEW Honda Fit from the factory that had been repainted with on the drivers side rear quarter panel. A technician had used a paint gun contaminated from a previous job, and had forgotten to purge the gun, so when they sprayed the white paint to patch a job, you could VISIBLY see the yellow paint mixture with white... FROM FACTORY. Honda’s CVTs are garbage, wouldn’t be surprised if they failed within 100k.
@that1guy5245 жыл бұрын
LogicalSense As much of a honda fan i am, Honda has really slipped these past few years. I can talk about the problems i’m currently having with my Wife’s CRV that’s having oil dilution problems. There’s a big recall on them right now including their civic lineup. You should take a look on Google for a minute because that is not a small problem. They have sure slipped the past few years for damn sure.

When I bought my car i test drove the Camry, accord, Maxima and Altima. What I loved about the Honda was the manual transmission. It was excellent and I wish the Camry had it. I ended up eventually buying the Camry ex LE V6 and I have absolutely no regrets. Very pricey, actually $5000 more than the TRT but worth every penny. A luxury ride which is Lexus quality as well as upper performance engine. I absolutely love this car and from what I hear about the Honda reliability issues for the last couple of years I’m glad I made that decision.

Great review Sarah. Well done! Also, love your humor. I have a 2019 Camry SE right now as a rental and after having it for a week because my car is in the shop, I really like what Toyota has done with the styling and performance. The new Camry has plenty of room for the family and the trunk is huge. Really people looking for a SUV or crossover because of space should not overlook this car. Even this SE is pretty fun to drive and the paddle shifting is pretty quick so I can imagine how much more fun the TRD version is with 100 more horsepower and performance aero and suspension. All this in a car that is about $30,000 new combined with that legendary Toyota quality. We were looking at the Veloster N but after seeing what Toyota was able to do with this TRD for same money, the choice is a little harder especially for a car that has to do double duty as a family hauler and something that is sporty. Keep up the great work. Subscribed.

No: JBL sound system, automatic wipers, LED headlights and taillights, turn signal lights, blind spot monitoring, smaller infotainment screen, no remote start, no rear seat armrest (for performance structural purposes supposedly) & also the rear seats don't fold down for trunk access, basic rearview mirror without automatic dimming for mirrors, no heated or cooled seats, SINGLE ZONE climate control. It's lower price from the XSE, but if you're willing to spend a few extra grand for a little less performance and looks and a LOT more comfort and options, go for the XSE.

Which means that this model still suffers from the same inability to put down full power because the traction control limits a considerable amount of power to prevent wheel spin. Chrysler bolts usually come matte silver. After one Michigan winter, rust brown, two Michigan winters, rot brown, three winters, crumbling crusty barely resembles a bolt, whatever that color is. Dodge Caliber/Jeep Patriot or Compass owners know this is true because they get nice a 10 year extended warranty on the crossmembers which come with bolt kits. if they can put a turbo on it, I'd buy it for $36,000 an if you include AWD then that makes it about 38,000-40,000k.
