In Clash Royale the Bowlwer isn't considered a goblin as in The Goblin Queens Journey; where if you play goblin cards it fills the goblin meter and once it full and you play another goblin card it activates the Goblin Queen ability but when you play the Bowler in this gamemode it did neither.

Fun fact Lava Hound and Headhunter has the longest time without new levels -Headhunter is only the troop that didn't get new level since the initial release (in the beginning, she is 3 levels but after many new Town Hall levels, she's still didn't get any levels)
