underrated build! I wish I had known early before I became a fully fledged ADL. When I was new to ROM, it's always about ADL and I followed ADL guide. I know about trapper build in Classic RO but It's hella difficult to level so I had the same thinking for ROM. BUT I did try a trapper build on my main and it's so good! (However to optimize power, equipment investment is a must) I even created a trapper alt. It thrives on wind element monsters even without runes and mediocre equips (bow is just +6 M.bow 2 slot). Just invest on racial cards. Currently oneshotting Sky petites and then planning to one hit carat next. If I still can't, then next is punk.

My 1st char was a trapper, left it, and made a priest(now the main) on the same account. Maybe now I can continue my trapper (now a dancer doing 17k per hit of dance for farming) Another great video guide!

You have forgot to mention the bow you can get in the quest manual, its much better than luna bow and rudra bow since it already have good effect and no tier required.

Based on my testing, Ankle Snare Damage Rune does not affect the Mine Field Skill especially if it is triggered by Detonation. If it is pre-triggered, the damage does indeed increase.

And then while farming, its better using exceed break or not using ? Trapper ranger dominate ET. They can solo easily. While adl suffer and need support from many food and priest buff. Adl is very expensive too.

With the current auto-targetting, trappers will suck at WOE. Make it manual and trapper will be the legend.

Morale enchant gave ignore def rite? Why not include mino card in the card table? Doesn’t it have any effect? Coz im still wondering if ignore def effects traps

Traps are Magic damage that is based on enemy's def. That means the higher the enemy's def, the lower trap m.dmg will be. That's why ignore def is important for trappers. Also note only racial cards affect magic damage. Tried and tested. Size cards and elemental cards doesn't have any effect. In addition, there's not a lot of gears for rangers that will make it possible for the deposit effect of mino card and DW card to activate. Furthermore, landmine and electric shock both ignores def on breakthrough.

Miss Maven is Lvl10 Truesight is not really required? How about the Atk+10% it gives at max lvl. does it not affect the traps damage?

If youre targeting the dummy in prontera it wont have any effect coz the dummy there doesnt have defense. Target a mob with defense and see if it improves your damage using andre star's ignore def stats

You must know that Detonator I rune will make traps inactive and will only proc when detonator is pressed. Stacking multiple traps under that wolf grandma will deal massive damage as detonator will increase the damage output of traps when pressed. It would be a one-hit kill just like WL's Tetra Vortex. You could stack 8 traps because of Trap Research, you could then stack 2 Frost trap, 2 claymore, 2 landmine and 2 electric shock. Having a detonator with full runes plus damage multiplier from Instrument Expert pasive skill of ranger and that stardust robe, moonlight goddess and luna brooch damage increase of traps will make a massive damage with that wolf grandma. On top of that, you could inlay your equips with ultraman cards, giblin card(s) and abyssmal knight card(s). Plus morale enchants on armors and weapons, arcane enchants on footgears and garments and insight enchants on headgears. Imagine the brute force your wolf grandma will face. That is the reason why, trapper is the meta on MANUAL play.
