Hi Matt , I wish I had the option to give you a star rating ... you'd get a 5 . I love the concept of the hour a day build .It just may give me the incentive to get back out there . I think it will ! Well done from Jim in Ontario Ca.

I've been doing an "hour a day" project and didn't even realize it. I've been working 4 or 5 hours a day, but only accomplishing about an hour's worth of work I could get done 60-years ago !

I do this on my current project 71 g30 chinook motor home out of Yakima my home town. You’ll be surprised how much you get done in an hour, and forward progress encourages you to do more

The “power hour” concept works for me. It is surprising how quickly an hour a day creates results! Even if it just cleaning parts and putting away tools for an hour (on low energy days). I will admit (during my winter build season) I usually average 20 days a month of power hours with the occasional thrash for a 1/2 day or longer. I want my car hobby to be a hobby and not a burden. The power hour helps me with that. A shout out to #cheftush who introduced me to the concept all those years ago.

That's a Good Idea of showing us --- that -- ONE - HOUR - A - DAY ---- is all it takes to get to one up off the couch and into the Garage -- or -- Driveway get something going --- Sometimes just giving it one hour --- gets you motivated to GO OUT THE NEXT DAY and maybe add more time to it ---- and then you are off ----- Sometimes we just piss and muon ---- it's just Getting Up and doing it.----- I know what you mean about not having a Father ---- Lost mine when I was in high school What Engine ---- I think a Banger --- with a Flathead -- won't you really need to box the frame --- strength ------- How good is that frame you have there? I replied to your E-mail ---- you asked my location ----- and that you might have what I was missing ---- Did You get that E-mail response? ---------------- Thanks for trying to get us Motivated ---- You ARE RIGHT ---- one hour will do it ------ See if you got that message from me --------------- Thank You for the Video ----- Rodney

I’m late to the game. What’s the ‘One Hour A Day’ theory? I have three old cars and work has me so stressed out that I don’t want to work on them anymore.
@Seattle_Speed_Shop Жыл бұрын
Just that if you work on your car 1 hour a day. Break it into really small chunks strung together,, Instead of thinking in large terms.(I need to put in 8 hours straight to do this) that you'll make more progress. I know these projects can be overwhelming at times. But if you just start working on something that needs to get done and keep doing a little bit every day. You'll get there. These projects are suppose to be fun and help de-stress from work life. Don't let the big picture take over. Just start working on it. Often times it's the getting started that is the block. At least that is what I have found for myself over the years
@caddyman7725 Жыл бұрын
Thanks! Sounds like something I should try.
