Yesterday I did a lot of backyard work. My daffodils were blooming. I picked a dozen and brought them in to set on my kitchen table. They cheer me every time I look at them.

Gotta share what happened on the 25th. We had our first great grand baby!! Canyon Beau Young arrived after 39!!! hours of labor!! He was at 36 months of gestation. But weighed in at 7 lb, 3 ozs, so fully baked. So incredibly precious!!!

My positive thing is my upstairs bathroom flooded and the water went into the air vent. Which in turn flooded the basement. So now with the insurance we can remodel the bathroom,laundry room,office,and my scrapbooking room. I am over the moon with excitement!!!!🎉🎉🎉🎉 💜Heather

Yesterday I was at the gym for 4.5 hours because I talked with a friend who needed to vent then I prayed for her. I also mentioned in class about a member who's having a medical procedure later this week. Another member mentioned his medical procedure and we prayed for both of them. I left feeling happy and hopeful. Thanks, Shannon, for making my day more enjoyable.

Don't worry about your car! Totally normal to me at least! Mine only gets cleaned at the end of softball season and the end of summer because of sand. 😂 I love your one hour betters. I always do 15 minute betters and even that small amount of time helps so much.

I’ve been in a downward spiral since November. A bad fall when skating (fractured my tail bone); a car accident 3 days before Christmas (wrote the car off) and a virus in January that dragged on for weeks. I’d been off my anxiety medication for 2 years, but had to admit I needed that help again. I’m just starting to feel better and doing small things to regain my self confidence. Today I followed through on a commitment that I was ready to pass off. I knew doing so would just make me feel guilty so I’m proud of myself for following through. I’m actually grateful for the ‘low’ times as I now know they will pass - all the more quickly if you just do what you’re afraid of. Walk straight into it with your fists up!

Great car clean! Whenever I was with my niece and her kiddos in her car I got them started on passing the WM bag and picking up trash when we stopped at gas stations. Even little kids seem to know what trash is. She has kept that up and even I do it as a task while pumping gas! Awwww so glad you got the card! After that intro, your car wasn't nearly as bad as I thought! Idea: when you have clutter in the car, you could take time at school pickup or other sit-and-wait times to just chuck it all into the trunk. That way, when you get home, it's all collected into one pile for you to more easily take inside. I also like having a car garbage hanging from the back of the driver's headrest so everyone can reach to throw stuff away. We also have an organizer on the back of the passenger seat to help keep other kid stuff off the floor. I love how short tasks that we put off often are, because then the actual work isn't as bad as you've been imagining and it's a relief. Plus it motivates me to not wait that long next time.

This made me feel so much better about my "Mimi car". I am constantly hauling my grandsons around, they eat and they are messy! I also have two 60-lb. bags of concrete in my passenger floorboard that have been riding around with me for two months lol. I'm inspired!

Cleaning my van is the one chore I despise! I don’t even keep trash and other stuff in there. I just need to vacuum and wash it and I still can’t make myself do it. Ugh! One positive thing is I live on the coast of NC and was able to have a full beach day on Friday… in February! It was beautiful!

1 positive thing: I wasn't hurt in the car accident I had. I was stopped at a stoplight and got rear-ended. Luckily, the air bags didn't deploy and no one was hurt, but my car is another story. Having a rough day, so I was happy to see a video from you. Always good to see you.

We eat frequently at a little hometown resraurant. The servers there are so kind. We get a sandwich to go for our daughter to take to work. Our daughter is Down Syndrome and the servers always put a smiley face on her sandwich wrapping. Makes her day and ours.

Oh honey, don't worry! My car looks just as bad, if not worse. I have three kids and four dogs, two of which jump in the car every time any door gets opened. There are lap blankets, jackets, and dirt ( because we have no grass around where I park), and goodness gracious only knows what else is in there. There is not enough time in the day or days in the weeks to make sure my car stays spotless, so when I can, I do, and when I can't, I don't worry, because no one but the kids and I see it. I saved a whole lot of money yesterday when i got a great deal on a delivery app. Felt like i won the lottery, although i've never won anything... struggle to win an argument! Don't feel ashamed of your vehicle, it is a well loved vehicle. I remember when I had all my children at home , that mini van was our home away from home. It took them every where and to college...may that mini van rest in peace. You made my heart glad, I work a stressful job that gives me anxiety. You made me laugh and remember that 98 dodge grand caravan which a church gave to me free, was a blessing and reminded me that God did it once He will do it again. Hey, I’m a grandma that does school take and picks every day. It’s a 35 mile round trip twice a day with breakfast and snacks needed. Of course there are books, paper and markers etc. car seats get gross. Usually weekend and holidays I clean it but life interferes sometimes. However, kids are on time, safe and happy. I can have a perfectly clean car when they are old enough to drive. Until then I just enjoy being with them and once a year have it detailed. ( another grandson)

I love a good car overhaul - and a wash, vacuum and wipe down, too! I know very few people with families - actually I know nobody with kids tbh - who are able to keep their cars spick and span. My mum could care less and has to push things off the seat and pull things out of the leg space to allow anyone to sit in her car and she couldn't care less - my close friend is exactly the same way - and her little one is grown and has her own car. They have other things to worry about, thank you. The car gets looked at when they feel like it! But thank you for sharing your getting the car all tidied up - especially if you're feeling down - I appreciate the herculean effort doing anything that's not absolutely have to when you're feeling down 😊😊

I did my car today too! I was one of those moms that made everybody clean up after themselves, every time we got home, they took their own stuff out of the car. Kids are all grown now and gone. My son's car is always gross. I guess it's his trauma from childhood. :-) Your videos are always so much fun.
