Thank you for this very insightful wisdom from the Word of God, taught in such a way that it doesn’t puff a person up, but helps a person to be and live as Christ wants us to in a tough world. I truly appreciate this sound instruction.

I really learn a lot and share your teachings with my friends and family. I thank you for being honest, loyal and excited about the word.. I am so glad I found you on KZbin . I tape your messages and listen to them and study with the Bible as you preach. I thank you for all the meat that I get from your teaching . May God bless you and your family and your church and the people that support you . I pray for you often and I am so glad you are the man that you have become in Christ.

The knowledge of Roman, Greek, Persian history that’s given with these lessons does something not found in other teachings. It paints a vivid, undeniable realism that solidifies what we’re learning as factual, not only philosophically, of course spiritually, AND historically.

You can feel his love for his students as much as Paul loved Timothy. I have had maybe two profs like this in my lifetime. So special.

I know this man has a doctorate degree but can a lay person have a bibliography for this historical information presented. His incorporation of the historicity elements to show us the ancient worldviews which were contemporary to the Biblical narrative are extremely helpful and priceless!

One thought is that people can move from being unable to being able, from simply needing ministry to becoming disciples and maybe even ministering to others. Let God show where to invest our time. After all, none of the disciples probably looked a likely choice for future ministry.

Bingo. Remember that the people in Acts were amazed by the unschooled apostles. It was the Holy Spirit that made them able, not their own ability. But truly, they had sat under the instruction and careful teaching of Jesus for 3 years and were discipled by Jesus Himself. They were transformed men because of it.
