For those Karen’s complaining about me touching the community cards. My goal is to make high quality content best for the viewers experience. I move the board closer to the camera so YOU watching the video can see better. This game is reserved in a private room at a casino I’m promoting. So yes, I can touch the cards to make it look better for the video. No, the dealers didn’t care.

You should have better asked the dealer to do it 😅

Yeah but that’s all you had to say. You also create content for new players to learn from and that’s clearly a definite no no. Like you say, if it’s a privately organised game then fair enough. Is still rather have asked the dealer tbh but meh.

Also, another unrelated thing I often watch/listen while driving so it would be awesome if you say what happens even though it can be seen on screen. Thanks again!

I completely agree with not forcing rec players to show their hand. It is definitely based on individual, you dont want to piss off a player that will give more action. On the other hand, every time I see a grinder, and I make calls and they say "you are good" I just stay still until they either show or fold. But only to those players who are always trying to take as much advantage as possible. For this particular big hand like you had, I would do the same. Just did last night for a pot of about $2k on a 5/5 game. The guy tried to do an all in bluff, and I had a very disguised set. When he was shy about showing his cards, I just flipped mine and he mucked. Then he immediately rebought. :) Gotta keep those players in the table. :)

Good luck in Boston but you’ll have a hard time filming unless you go to one of the 3 NH card rooms. BB now Gate City, Chasers, or the softest of the three at the Brook. Wouldn’t mind seeing a BB/Gate City vlog as I’m curious what the room/chips look like now since the change. Just moved down to FL from Boston this summer but I’m kinda in no man’s land as far as poker. Club 52 is soft but only action on the weekends at smaller stakes. I eventually will make it down your way at some point. Maybe I’ll take a shot and try to take some chips and make the vlog.

Yeah, I had to skip back several times to review what I thought I saw. (The adjustment). I don’t have huge experience, just played in the 4-5 casinos in my hometown and in Vegas, maybe 15 - 20 card rooms in total but I’ve never seen that EVER. I almost feel like flashing lights and sirens would descend from the ceiling if a player just randomly reached over and started moving flopped dealer cards during a hand. Lol

The way H played was suggests bluffing. Checked (Missed) flop, then bet a (brick???) turn just because the opponent closed prev street with checking...then x/r river. And the raise was heavy overbet. The guy put him on either missed flop (AK, AQ, KQ, AXs...), or high pair (KK, Q, JJ, TT). One would never expect a FH from the confusing play of an opponent. So, yes, shoving the river when holding stronger than a pair makes sense to me.

If you're going to Boston, why not just play at the Encore? The poker room is just meh but it's well run and the action was good enough when I played there. If you do go to the Encore, then I recommend taking a walk down the road to Mike's Roast Beef. Solid sandwiches and a local favorite.
@mbkincaid1 Жыл бұрын
it's possible the villain slow played and thought 108 was the nuts because you wouldn't check 2 pair+ on the flop. it sounded like he didn't say you're good until you announced full house. This is the same reason I would call with Lex's hand because the villain didn't lead flop or bet the turn.

@joyride1598 Жыл бұрын
@@phillyflipper2521 you've had too many booster shots? How many did you get, grillman? A sit 'n go is not a leave whenever you want cash game. No one in the poker world calls a cash game that. A sit 'n go is only a 1 table tournament. 9 or 10 players SIT and the tournament GOES, hence the name. Trim that ball hair; it's affecting your writing.

Nice call 22 his river 3 bet, while strong, didn't make a lot of sense. For him to have a boat there means he would have have to have a set/2 pair on the flop. But he just checked back the flop where there were a million draws out there. Mayb he could check back top set but everything else should be betting. Similarly he failed to raise the turn despite both of you being very deep. Trapping on the flop ok fair enough but by the turn he really needs to start pumping money in with his sets and two pairs.
@JasonQRoka20 Жыл бұрын
Your guess Lex? I watch your videos all the time, and I felt that you should have let him show his hand first on that 22 full house. He's the one that pushed all in, not you, so he would be required to show first in all casinos and game rooms. 😊 All is well, still love your videos, keep them coming!
