Thank you for offering this retrospective. I finally figured out why she was so strong and adventurous in her later years, after having been used for years by Stieglitz and his artist's ego.

wonderful talk; I so enjoyed learning more about Georgia O'Keeffe's own thoughts about her work and how exhibits figured into her art. It must have been excruciating for her to endure all the psychoanalyzing and sexualizing her work. I love the way Ann writes and presents - it's clear that she has such passion for O'Keeffe's work and patience to sift through all the research material. That shines through and makes us fall more in love with Georgia's work and her person. I'm hungry to read more of her writings on her art. She was so focused on the work and we are the beneficiaries of that! I know Ann's book will be well worth the wait.
