This hatchet is one in a million and cuts metal - a simple technology available to everyone, but not everyone can make a masterpiece with their own hands.
In a video with a phenomenally simple hardening of metal, I prepared hatchets that, after hardening and tempering the metal, began to cut glass and chop metal. Today we will make it beautiful.

The video showed step by step the entire process of metal polishing, the process of metal etching, bluing and making handles using nichrome thread.
The metal was polished by hand using sandpaper and an orbital machine.
The stencils for the pattern were made on a cutting plotter in a nearby photo studio.
Artistic etching is done using regular salt and a low voltage DC power supply. Blued metal in alkali.
Only stainless steel utensils are suitable for bluing metal.
The proportions of the components are as follows.
Caustic soda 500 grams per liter of water, sodium nitrate 350 grams per liter of water.
Caustic soda vapors are quite dangerous for the lungs, so bluing is best done outdoors
I made the handles from bog oak using nichrome thread and a 24 volt power supply.
Each of the kitchen hatchets is one in a million and cuts metal - a simple technology for hardening and tempering metal was shown by me in the previous video. After simply hardening and tempering the metal, kitchen hatchets began to chop coins and even profile pipes. Watch the video • РЕЖЕТ СТЕКЛО И МЕТАЛЛ ...
