@@doughesson Of course I will not be involved in any of the confiscation of guns in the hands of criminals; that's what law enforcement is for. When enough Australian and New Zealand citizens grew tired of gun deaths, they implemented successful policies that resulted in the peaceful elimination of guns. Their police and military still have guns, and use them as last resorts. The majority of U.S. citizens have also grown wary of gun deaths, and the massive U.S. personal gun arsenal is in the hands of less than 45% of the people. When the 2nd is repealed, with the exception of you and a few of your friends and criminals, guns will be removed from circulation peacefully.

All roles serving society are honorable; one such specialty a few unique individuals take on is law enforcement. Are you suggesting that anyone who wants to reduce gun deaths or even reduce crime are cowards? If you consider the representatives who shirk at challenging the gun lobby to enact reasonable and responsible regulations of firearms, you may have better resources for defining cowardice by example. But all your spinning and your attempts at deflecting do not dilute the issue that when the guns are gone, gun deaths also go away.
