I realized this a couple episodes into the show, but Kessoku Band are just Metallica. Nijika is Lars, the leader and drummer Ryo is Cliff and the bassist (and best girl) Kita is James, with vocals and rhythm guitar And Bocchi is Kirk, lead guitar who loves pedals, but isn't who you think of for the "face" of the band The only part that doesn't quite line up is Nijika and Ryo being friends, instead of Nijika and Kita
