One Lap around

Raw Footage: One Lap around MidAmerica Outdoors NitroCross track at #visions2023.
I handed my phone over to my uncle to film this video.
This is the first year the NitroCross track was built at MidAmerica in Jay, Oklahoma. This is the brainchild of Action Sport Legend and Rally Driver, Travis Pastrana. The track is 100% dirt except for the paved starting grid. Possibly by next year, most of the track is supposed to be paved in concrete.
The reason we got to drive around the track. On that Friday it had rain enough to cause a weather delay during their Heat races. We were driving around in my Polaris RZR to kill some time while they waited for the track to dry. As we were driving past the track, I noticed a lot of SxS driving around the track and they were not just track marshalls. I drove down to one of the track gates and ask the guy at the gate, are they letting anyone drive around the track? He said yes, do you want to help dry the track? YES! He said to drive slowly and be careful.
So we did a total of 2 laps but the video is from the 2nd lap we did. I was speechless and could not believe I was getting to drive around one of, if not the BEST Rallycross track in the world. Pastrana says he plans to make it even better next year with some tweaks from learning more about how the track feels after racing on it. There is supposed to be a gap jump here, but they covered it back up before Visions. With so much rain this past Spring, they just ran out of time to finish the track.

Were you allowed more than 1 lap?

We did 2 Laps. Could have done more, but I thought the tractors were coming out to work on the course. Some people probably did 5 or more Laps. I pulled off after 2. The video is from the 2nd Lap.
