Never have I seen this guy play, but I said to my dad He's going to be good. He was better than good. He was perfect. You are to me what Micheal Jordan is to you. Through every dribble, every block, every point point scored I was with you all the way. Now 21 years old. And I still have the same feeling of excitement seeing Wade play basketball. This guy.. I remember as a teenager in middle school and high school staying up all night just to see this man playing in the NBA for the Miami Heat. Idolizing him, inspired by him. Though I never had a career in basketball, I have played for 9 years, from third grade. What started as a forced journey by my dad, being small kid pushed into sports and being more active, continued with love of the game. Love that was driven by this man. At that time, all I remember was the joy he brought with him. His mad skills, his athleticism, his passion, his drive. It was more then I could handle. Sitting in my room, seeing him in the 2006 finals, 2009 season and of course th glorious 2010-2014. The spark I had and still have in my eyes every time I see him on court is just unexplainable. Moreover, he is not like any of the other basketball superstars, nor in the past and nor in the present. DWade teaches us the meaning of being humble. He teaches us that hard workand dedication do works out. Unselfishness. A true team player. One who makes other shine before himself - Shaq, LeBron.. And loves it just the same. Nowdays, after I my adolescent stage with him, I see the bigger picture. It's above and beyond the basketball court. It's his core values. His appreciation and caring for family and friends, for his supporters and for his community. Wade worth millions of dollars and yet most of his money goes towards philanthropy. He is arguably the most philantroph basketball player ever played this game. He is still my idol, but not only for his basketball skills. Dwayne, I take my hat off for you sir. You are a true inspiration for us all. Thank you for the lovely years, the tears and sweat. We have a lot to learn from you.

First time I saw Wade was when the Bearcats played Marquette. I was a huge Cincinnati fan but I got to admit when I first saw this dude I was like.. "DANG! this is the best player in college but nobody must know about him" he was under the radar. I found myself following this guy even though he played for our rival. It wasn't long before he became my favorite player. I can't say D Wade is the best to ever play but in my opinion he has the sickest and most attractive game I have ever seen and I been watching basketball since Bird and Magic

I'm from Greece and Mr. Dwyane Wade You are my role model all this years.. Because of time zones and because as a child I didn't have access to internet I had to see every single game of Yours after midnight. So I did. I was watching Your games from a little village in Greece, always after midnight and after that I was going school with 3 hours of sleeping. Every single game. Even at my exams. I remember myself of recording with my cell phone with a stupid camera from TV Your dunks so I could showed them to my friends at schooll and say to them "Look what Wade did again last night". I remember every single injury of yours and I cried in most of them because I wanted so hard to see You play again and again and be the best. But also, because I knew and I could see it in Your eyes that you wanted the same too. I admired you so much that I wrote Your name at my basketball shoes with a marker because I couldn't afford to buy an authentic pair. And I tried to copy all Your moves because with those move I could be the best like You. Mr. Dwyane Wade I believe You are one of the best of all time and sure You are my favourite player in the world. Not only because of Your skillset but also for Your character's strength, Your iron heart and of course for Your excellent behaviour in and out of the court. You were and still ARE a great role model for me and I strongly believe for a lot other people too. So, thank You Mr. Wade for all these years of beautiful basketball and for every single point of Yours that I had the opportunity to see. I hope that You will enjoy Your last season and the whole world too.
