Wow, this is beautiful. I'm generally much more invested in the story of Snape and Lily but I definitely feel a lot for Harry and the story of Lily and James as well. Many acts of love, deep love, in the Harry Potter series and I love that very much. James and Lily as parents is nothing less of a tragic, beautiful and immortal story. This is really sad. But it makes me somehow happy that James seems to think that Lily will survive too, when he sings "Lily, please tell him I love him and that ill always be there".
