Mostly relatable to the life I have passed through since....and sir I wanna share the story of mine too 'cause probably a piece of me has been knowing it since long that a moment would make me feel like it's time for mine to share and that made me to write verses from long back

This is the kind of poem i usually set out to hear and fail to find. No pretence, low volume but high voice, an honesty and innocence in each word. A soothe, like a starry night's been put to paper. Dhanyawaad, Jidnya!

This is for all those who relate to it and for all those couldn't resist commenting on this video. Beautifully written and delivered. Above lines are: The night isn't over yet Wait back, let's watch the sunrise together Wait back, cause I am not done telling you things about myself Things that aren't related to you anyhow, but they tell me that you need to know about them you see, they are just starting to understand the difference between you and me. so here I am, standing in front of you, asking you to wait back a little longer having secrets on my tongue that are ready to jump out of my mouth with anxiety in my eyes working as a mic connected to a huge, loudspeaker in a hope that it will reach the extents of your understanding. Just give me a moment though, I need to select all the words carefully, put them in a queue and add them into a playlist before they reach you ears. You see, no one likes to play and pause it after every couple of minutes. Just wait back. Because, I need to tell you about the night my mother woke me up at 2am asking me to hug her, because she was missing being held. I need to tell about the time I found my dog's hair on my old t-shirt and how I hugged it crying cause that was probably the last memory he left me with before he died. I need to tell you about all those Saturday night Pyjama-parties I enjoyed with my brother drinking rose milk, eating cheap popcorn, and gossiping about the aunty living next door. I need to tell you about the times my nani kept scolding me for staying up late, not acknowledging the tears in my eyes, and of all those nights she poured her childhood in front of me and my Instagram engrossed self replied with something with as bland as 'Mhmm Okay' and how I now post pictures of her saying 'Rest in peace, Ajji'. I need to tell about all the pills that were almost eaten and all those google chrome pages that said, "How to differentiate between sadness and depression". I need to tell you about the weeks I spent crying still wanting to kill myself and all the pages I filled in an attempt of writing the perfect suicide note and about the morning after when I found that diary in my mother's trembling hands and how she pulled me close and covered me in her arms and told me how this reminded her of the time when she first held me after I was born, which could be true, cause I surely felt that way. I need to tell you how talking to you makes me realize how much more we need to talk and how much more you need to know. I need to tell you that I am so grateful to have your hands holding mine, cause I have been cold for so long and your warmth helps my emotions flow out with ease. I need to tell you that I know you've better things to do in life, I know you have probably errands to run, I know I have held for a long time now, I know I have used too much of your light. But here I am, standing in front of me, asking you to wait back a little longer cause see the night's almost over, Come, let's watch the sunrise together.

Simply WOW. I don't understand what's more beautiful, the words she utters,or the way she utters them flawlessly, like a rhyme to the ears! If I be around a city, where an open mic concert would be going on,I wish her to perform and me to be there in the crowd there! I don't feel like that for many.

Beautiful is perhaps an understatement..... I fail to express what I feel every time I hear this. And every time I hear this it brings me to tears.... This is the best example of you don’t need big words to put together what you feel and then put it across to the world in the most simplest and heartfelt way ever.... I love the way you dress and carry yourself there is so much poise.... Please write more, you have some genuine fans here and they would love to hear you again.....! I heard your other spoken word as well it’s amazing. But, do write more just can’t get enough of you..... 😇

Very touching and beautifully rendered. As someone who has suffered from depression, I understand. You can get over it with help. Depression leads to sorrow and sorrow becomes comfortable. That puts you in a vicious cycle that takes you down lower and lower till you cant function. Then you realize, its in your brain. Its not real and you get out of it.
