Yeah. You can see the points where he starts overthinking and reconsidering placement. The round at 32:20 is a good example. He started strong and kept going with the instinctive placements for a while, then he started Thinking About It.

I'm sorry for essaying, read tl;dr if you don't feel like reading or just ignore this I think that the one life thing is a nice alteration of the survival round, but I also think that Jordan needs to realise that the chonky wide towers he builds are reducing his placing speed due to the fact that the pieces have to travel a longer vertical distance. The fact that there is a limited amount of pieces you have to place means that it is an intended game mechanic to win by placing all your pieces in survival. This means speed is also a thing to consider in survival as well as building a tower that is not going to fall apart before you run out of blocks to place. Now I do understand that Jordan feels like he almost never can win from Pete or X33n because they are able to get more blocks placed without losing all their lives, but i doubt that the only reason for this is that they can think/contemplate faster than Jordan (cuz Sparklez is old man haha). So if Jordan tries to build a less wide tower next time survival comes around, I feel like he'll have a bit easier time getting his pieces placed down quickly and might have a bit more chance to win from X33n and Pete, even without the one life rule. TL;DR: I like one life survival, but Jordan needs to build less wide bases for increasing his placing speed in survival, i believe he can win survivals too without one life rule.

I think he just needs to think less and place faster (which would probably result in a narrower base). Also I don't get his obsession for placing 4 tall blocks vertical in races and survival lol. Also we say this, but it's not like Jordan looses every single round.

Waiting for him to realise you can control the islands, it places it based on where your current block is, it wont spawn in a collision with a falling block, so you move your block to the side you dont want the island

is it just me, or is jordan slower at placing blocks because he carries his blocks down, where as Xeen and Pete drop their block and as that block drop another already is formed. Jordan carries his block so that another one only forms after he finishes placing his current block?

Also Jardoon has gotten so good at making it thicc that he ends up doing that even in race. If you notice other guy's towers in 33 survival it's neither too thick nor too thin but just enough to survive. Bringing the blocks all the way to the edges of a thick tower takes more time and gives more options for which he has to think more.

He tends to overthink. So he prolongs his stuff, when he finally decides something, he typically 'pulls inspiration' from the neighbours. See puzzles as an example.
