Why is Brenda's picture still there? She doesn't have anything to do anymore. It appears like she won't be getting back with Larry. Speaking of Larry, isn't it odd that there is no mention of Dan...maybe that shouldn't be odd since Dan never interacted with the Lord family. The writers really flubbed his character. The only good thing they did was getting rid of Laura Jean. Someone in the comments mentioned that Carlo is not in the credits. I never realised that; he is definitely a regular so he should be there. He can take Brenda's position. Also love the interactions between Gabrielle and Carlo. Those two really keep the drama going on this show.

She was there until December of 1991 but after micheal palace left as Dan wolek she did not get much story brenda and Dan should have never been broken up they should have married the charecters off and had them leave the show together.

@@NovelasDoMundoyeah I didn’t want to bring up her death bc it makes me beyond sad. I am also watching 2003 from the other channel and dreading her last few episodes coming up. It’s been 20 years and still heart breaking. Gabby is my favorite daytime character ever and I never watched another episode of OLTL again after she was gone. By 2003 the show was going down hill but she kept me invested until she was gone. The writers should have had her break her engagement to Bo and move back to Argentina to grieve and heal from Al’s death and then move on with her life. She would have broken Bo’s heart but at least she got a dignified exit and was alive.

@@NovelasDoMundoagree. Terrible all around. They could have still righted that wrong by bringing her back from the dead when the show ended. People come back from the dead on soaps all the time OLTL did it more than once with Mitch Laurence so why not Gabby?! I did read somewhere that Max came back to the show once in the mid2000s and said he was living in Argentina? They could have had Max reconnected with Gabby in Argentina where it all began for them. I loved Gabby with both Max and Bo so I would have been happy with either outcome. Max and Gabby changed for the better because of Al (max acknowledged this to Gabby after Al passed). Max and Gabby both matured and weren’t toxic to each other like before. They were good friends by 2003 so I think it could have worked out for them. IMO, Max was her first love and Bo was her true love.

i started watching the show when Ryan Phillip was on there and until it ended. I never knew who Jake was. My friend Craig got me watching it until it ended. Best soap opera!!

The show is not nearly as bad as I recall 1991 being. Gabrielle and Carlo (and Jake and Megan)just worked! The script writing is horrific at this point--- See 24:00 and the Bo scene- it's really bad....There is still alot of suspense.. Gabrielle leaving in mere weeks? 1-2 months? Its no wonder the show really suffered... It was the end of an era in many ways!

Because first s micheal snezzal left as headwriter in late 1989. Then Paul Rauch would be gone around march of 1991 as ep to try and save sabra Barbara and the terrible linda gotlieb would replace him as ep. But at this point Paul Rauch was still ep but would leave soon.
