This was a sad time for viewers who loved Andrea Evans portrayal of Tina .We were so sad to see her go.The chemistry between her and John Loprano ( Cord) was unmatched.! It is sad these were the actresses last scenes .She quit the show and moved because her life was being threatened by a stalker.

I know ! He told her like 50 ways to Sunday " we are through " & I want a divorce " now b/c she took off w/ cj ( her son too why when cord hits the detonator does Tina have to leave her son w/ cord at her alleged home I say alleged cause after the heaven story viki told Tina she'd share llainfair w/ her. Funny I guess Tina was not on the deed as viki or one of her alters threw her out a few times. ) anyway now that Tina is wanting to take her child since it's unfair that she leaves him b/c she self banishes from her " family " home now cord has to stick a knife in her heart saying " I was gonna give to another chance. Now since u took cj no doubts " what a creep. She did nothing wrong!! She begged for months! Now she's leaving & taking her child. Good God. Cord is such an abusive husband. He gets off on playing w/ Tina. If she had left he would have been fine. He's being all possessive about cj. That's his mother. Why must she leave her child everytime cord dumps her ? How come Tina doesn't ask cord to leave llainfair. It is her sister's house. What happened to that place Tina & cord were living at in 1988?

RIP Andrea Evans. She had a fantastic run on this show and helped to build it into the titan it was back in the 80s. The mood of the last scene with Tina and Cord is appropriate. It was a sad situation with Andrea being stalked and having to leave NYC for her safety and it was sad that cord and tina could never get on the same page. Andrea had such a unique look and style (whether red or blond) and her legacy will live on. Now for those of you complaining about Cord, you are forgetting one simple reason he behaves the way he does; he is the son of Maria Vasquez and Clint Buchanan. Both of his parents were stubborn, self-righteous and obsessive. Maria got her dying wish when she told Tina she'd haunt her for the rest of her life. Indeed Tina could never enjoy a happy life with Cord for the majority of the show's run. I'm sure Maria was cackling looking down at Tina leaving town with CJ. She never liked Tina and would be happy to clear her out of Cords life forever. Meanwhile, Clint is doing the same behavior with Vicki and Julia; punishing Vicki and subtly flirting with Julia. So you see, it is the curse of being the son of Clint and Maria that makes Cord such a miserable (yet gorgeous) self-righteous, obsessive, hypocritical jerk.

I'm glad Tina stood up for herself and said bye Cord...go get your quickie divorce while I'm with my son in San Diego! I hated that they wrote Andrea's Tina off this way...begging for love and acceptance from a man that did not deserve her or her zest for life.

Also, you'd think that Tina's goodbye would have been worthy enough to end the week with. I'm guessing that the Friday cliffhanger will either be involving the drugs storyline or, more likely, Mendorra.

Cord is crying. If he would have not filed for divorce Tina and their son wouldn't have left. He was still playing with her feelings by telling her maybe they had a chance in the future. Even though he was right because they really did get married again. They will always be my favorite couple on OLTL.

RS played Dorian with camp and humor - Elaine PRINCI played Dorian like an educated elegant lady with steel rod for a backbone and a razor tongue !!

I miss when soaps actually took time to write these amazing goodbyes for their characters instead of lazily killing them off, the bodies never being found, so they can be resurrected. Or the characters just disappearing and never being heard from again.

Andrea was the first of many departures that damaged the show beyond repair. Shortly after Andrea was James. Yes Max and Tina came back but different actors which wasn't the same. Then in 1990 Jensen left and less than six months Fiona was gone. James came back in late 1991 but then John left and early 92 Jessica left which the show never recovered from. In three years OLTL felt a like completely different show which was not for the better.

Could someone tell me if the actress talking to the Prince is the Actress Carole Davis? Carole Davis is best known for her role as Roxie in the Movie “Mannequin”. OLTL is not listed on her IMDB Credits.

She also appeared in the original t.v serise the odd couple not the terrible movie version she also had roles on another world and all my children so one life would be her third soap opera role as far as I know I think she is still alive today hopefully besides the odd couple I only saw her work on both AW. and OLTL. Never saw her work on all my children so I don't know what type of charecter that she had played .

Wait how can cord have Tina arrested for taking her child w/ her esp when she & cord are married & I'd assume both have full custody ? Sad that this is Andrea & John's last scene of their golden Era or for the next 11 years. Kind of a crappy ending for Andrea Evans. Maybe they hoped she'd be back sooner?

Arrested at this very moment, I would doubt. But if there was a legal custody dispute, the child would have to remain in the jurisdiction, and then it could happen.

BS, maybe. But "gaslighting" is a direct effort to make another person feel mentally unbalanced or even psychotic by presenting them a false reality... I don't think Viki was trying to drive Dorian into emotional instability.

@@romanseano: True because Dorian was way too sharp for Viki. But Viki would have loved to be able to gaslight Dorian, but she was never able to. I just love how sharp Dorian sets Viki straight.
