Tina sounds a LOT less dippy here, in 1985, than when I started watching in 1988 after Patrick died and Ursula kidnapped her, but it was AE's sense of humor in the scenes where she literally swept Patrick's ashes under a rug at the lighthouse that made me come back for more!

I know this comment is awhile ago but I agree Tina was not the ditzy airhead she became in the late 80s. She is tougher savvier & in control. I wonder if she was directed to act that way later. How did oltl not keep Tina lord on the show all the time. The last tina was a total ditzy airhead. It sux andrea was forced to leave bc of her stalker. I guess in the 80s the laws werent as tight as they are now.

@@natalieps2387 Nope. I can recall several scenes where Tina was tough and not dumb at all. That girl was a World Class Manipulator. But as the years went on, they wrote her dumber and dumber. I guess it was more about comedy; which Ms. Evans was good at. Plus, the audience probably was more forgiving of her dirty deeds as long as she acted like a little girl.

They werent for long. Dorian knew tina since she was a child. Irene was dying & left tina with her college bff viki when she was a teenager. I think Tina was off the show for awhile & returned at this time.

Tina and Dorian hell yea! And 10 years later another lord bastard comes along ( in my head todd is the only lord heir not that crazy twin story) andrea still had so many classic moments ahead of her meeting Cord Robert's going over the falls in Argentina having little cj. It's not that I don't count Sarah I'm just talking andrea as another actress played her at that point. Yes tina seems less ditzy here than in the late 80s but I think they showcased Tina's comedic timing which was excellent. Theirs a clip of her during Karen's epic courtroom confession she looks like such a little girl. Other e.p.'s at the time did not know to use Tina as a big time character. I give paul Rauch credit for seeing the true potential of Tina & showcasing the great Andrea Evans. Maybe they thought she was too young. She was a teenager. I liked in the 80s when the teen crowd wasnt on. Exec's think kids want to see other kids when kids are interested in watching adults !
