Hi Chad, I've watched and enjoyed all of your work and experiences, I certainly agree with all the comments you get. You bring joy into an otherwise troubled world. Your intuitive engineering is brilliant as well. Can I suggest just one thing that you may or may not have considered, that is ventilation in your sawmill shed. The last thing we want is a Chad with a headache. Lol Pete
@HiddenSpringFarm2 ай бұрын
Aww thanks for the comment. I haven’t thought much about ventilation since I plan to keep the entire back side open. It’ll be about 5’tall at the back cause of the slope so I figure snow won’t blow in so much and I can leave it open.

HOWDY CHAD.....WOW - VERY IMPRESSIVE! The roof beams are really coming along nicely. Animal Speak - when you were up on the ladder and Olive was barking, you didn't get alarmed because you knew exactly WHY she was barking (farm guests back from shopping) and the Woodpecker-Flicker pecking the tree that you asked for "quiet please". & They complied. AHHHHH Nature, I love it! Everything is. coming together so nicely....GREAT JOB! GOD BLESS......😊❤😮❤

Great job Chad. About you buying the 2x8 boards, you do what you have to do. Winter is coming and I know you have bad ones. You have done a wonderful job all by yourself. Chad, does it hurt if the wood is touching the ground. I also would install a gutter system to protect your wood and I would install a rain barrel to collect some water for the mill. You never know when you need water in a hurry. Chad, I have scene clear heavy plastic that comes in 6 to 8 inch wide strips that hand down like a curtain. I will see if I can find the company that make it. It's a great wind brake and you can come and go through it.
