A grater is for making a good finished ground. Example on a big road construction. Excavator first making the groundworks, dozer to push out bearings (pretty big rocks that the rain falls through), grader to push out gravel and make sure that it is inclined so the rain falls of the road and lastly a compactor. There finished gravel road, if needed put asfalt and have a roller roll over it and lastly have something put the lines in and you have a regular road

The Motor Graders are also used on gravel roads to smooth them out as they get holes and such eventually. Although to me, they are kind of useless in the game except for the ripper on the back. The blades didn't work very well when I tried it lol.

@sk8erkbadass2 жыл бұрын
Drae when you are driving the dump truck full you have to put your tarp over your load otherwise as you seen the wind will blow your dirt out that's why you lost so much if you put the tarp over it stops it from losing any if you look at the front of the dump body you'll see it it's on two arms

Some of these tasks are pretty ridiculously lenient on how much progress you need to get done with there was just a quick finish button for less credits but doing full completion earns you like 20-25% more credits.

Drae I just wanted to say a 4 years ago you made 2 videos about pc building simulator and I don't know if you know but they made a second one and its releasing on the 12 (4 days from when this comment was posted) and i was wondering if you were going to play that because it would be kinda nostalgic.

The Roadworks task (paving/etc) is the final task so the $395K is likely including that + the total job completion. Idk why they don't put the final pay for completion in the debriefing but ok.

@ The game Devs: You guys have to add a collision detection on the "non physical" representation of the placeable part. Basically something like a overlap detection so you can't place the sections if your crane overlaps...
@PRC5332 жыл бұрын
The game has that for the actual pieces you are placing. However, it does not take into account the elements that magically pop into place when a segment is completed. This happened to me a lot on the bridge when I was pouring the supports. The boom of the concrete pump got stuck in the new formwork almost every time.
@MrLarsalexander2 жыл бұрын
@@PRC533 It has to be a collision overlap check before you can pop the section in place. So that even if it's green, but overlapping the boom of the crane (or what ever) it will warn you about it and not letting you place it.
@PRC533 Жыл бұрын
@@MrLarsalexander The problem is that you can't actually place some of the pieces or in my case pour the column without putting equipment within the new section. The game usually solves this by requiring a certain area to be cleared before it spawns the new elements, but this is tied to a border on the ground (a blue line). They haven't done the same for a 3 dimensional space and that's whats causing the issue.
