@ idk why I decided to main France as my number two nation mainly becuz I thought the tanks were gonna be uniquely fun but man o man I was slightly wrong lol bouncy turrets alllll the way till 9.3 I straight skipped 8.0 and 8.7 hell I even used the amx13 90 due to the fact it had the same heat shell as the 8.0’s and it was smaller and had faster reload but man it’s like you gotta play like a rat/ sniper even in the big tanks at 7.7 but even 9.0 and on is whatever the jets are great tho

@ tbh as much as a pain in the ahh it is to play the true struggles are at 1.0-3.0 once you get to 3.7 it’s a breath of relief a lot of American stuff but you learn to play fast and patient and plan ahead with France again nothing has stabilizers besides American vehicles and if you want to spend a few dollars on premiums I’d say the best low tier and very tanks in my opinions are the amx13 chafe it has a stabilizer it’s fast and scouts also has the American 75 and man it’s a tank I will never regret buying I genuinely love playing it as well becuz it’s simply fun and a great plane to pair it with is the premium p47 re , both of those will help you grind out the middle ranks so easily and get you TONS of SL and for 5.0 the m4a1 f10 or something like that it’s a premium that packs a punch but basic rounded early Sherman armor BUT has a 5 second flat auto loader which makes it worth it it’s very fun as well and there’s a tank very similar in the tech tree but has the square Sherman armor and a different round but I prefer the premium tank , but from 3.7-7.7 it’s the golden area of France all 7.7 tanks are fast have some armor but have a beautiful 4 second reload that HIT HARD but you have to play again like a rat/sniper also the ARL’s which are at 3.7 and I believe 5.0 are beautiful the 3.7 had more armor for its BR but a tricky gun to use but the 5.0 has a great gun but slightly less armor but both are reasonably fast for heavy tanks and fun to use but if you take this France journey just do what I did and skip 8.0 lmao and go straight to 9.3 for stabilizers there’s zero 9.0 tanks or under that have them and the only vehicles I found useful was this wheeled 8.7 light tank and maybe the mars 15 since they have sabot shells along with laser range finders but lack stabilizers hopefully this helps

Tip for the arl-44, you can't pen a tiger 2 on the front. You can however penetrate a panther from the front if its facing directly at you. Other than that you can pretty much penetrate everything you face

Honestly, France gets really good at 6.7 and above, 8.0 (the mbts mainly due to lack of stabilizer and some of the light tanks) is kind of bad imo but as you go higher it gets better!
