Dinesh bhai have one obd 2 scanner .. which can be connected to mobile via bluetooth. Make sure it is bs vi diesel compliant. Reason is every emission should be J1939 compliant (this is norm). That will help you definitely atleast to diagnose the issue and take action on the spot.

Dinesh bhai when you said that your car is in limp mode. I thought of filter problem as I've experienced that in my bike when my air intake filter was blocked due to a cloth. But a car is different so, waited for your confirmation. 😅 I hope everything is sorted. And you have a wonderful experience further.

It's a wiring harness issue, manufacturing defect, all Thar of the same batch have this issue. Nothing to worry, just get it replaced from Mahindra under warranty.

Please do not seal the hole in the airbox, as this is for draining any fluid that has ingressed in the airbox. If you seal that hole there are chances of of fluid being sucked into your car's intake manifold which will damage your engine.

Bs 6 diesel cars are really, not reliable in mountains.. specially dpf filters getting choked due to low rpm driving which is obvious high rpm are not possible.. I guess petrol cars should be considered for mountains.
