white bird in the tree, white ibis, aka bin chickens. you will get the reference if you look that term up. Emu, pronounced Eem-You, not eem-oo.

There is actually a spoonbill Ibis which if they do have the spoonbill then it's not your typical bin chicken which doesn't have the spoonbill. We have both where I live on the bay in Brisbane.

@@somefatbugger Thank you! Will definitely visit Brisbane on my next visit. I also heard that Brisbane (and Queensland overall), is one of the few places in Australia where you can pet a koala. It was illegal in NSW, where I asked.
