If you still check this I have major depression suicidal tendencies and anxiety which hadn't really been an issue until the past few years just one thing after another loss after loss, betrayal, deaths of very close friends and family. It just became too much and I cracked . I'm broken completely both physically and mentally mentally it doesn't help that I'm also dying unless I get a transplant. Anyway if you still monitor this video video I am a lucid dreamer and by that I mean I have full control of my dreams I can go anywhere I can do anything I feel healthy and I can manipulate anything I'm powerful in the dreamscape. Is this medication going to affect tinto effect that because that's one world or actually lots of worlds I'm not willing to give up. I can put myself to sleep travel at different worlds visit the same placis it the same places the same people bull not even sure if they actually really exist or not possibly not sure not sure but it's the one place I find solace in. I'm curious if you happen to know whether this will interfere with that or not

@@shyaaammeneen63 you’re a great human being, meditation has been proven to be an effective treatment. However, it doesn’t work for everyone. Clinical depression can be life threatening, while meds may not always be the answer it’s a tool. One has to get their mind straight once the mind is right then they add other tools such as meditation, lifestyle changes, yoga etc etc depression is a disease of the mind, thought disorder, some maybe even genetics. But, we’re all made different so what works for others may not work for some. Sometimes life can be so cruel and hard, and some can be resilient while few can’t handle life obstacles. Depression can come in a variety of ways, that’s the real issue. I often wonder if meditation was thought in schools at an early age, how would that transform the lives as these children mature in age?

Thank you for this! I was also so against going on meds as I watched my ex husband struggle with it. I've had anxiety for 15 years, but it was always just work related. So I'd have my panic attack when I made a mistake and then I'd be ok. Now since separating from my husband and now living alone, it's turned into health anxiety. My brain has been like "I have a headache! Omg I'm going to have a brain aneurysm and die in my sleep" or "I have chest discomfort. If I have a heart attack, there's noone here to notice the signs and call for help". I do have chest pains, but it's more a combo of stress/anxiety and heartburn.. but don't let that stop my brain from thinking it's a fatal condition! I am worried about becoming reliant on them, and gaining loads of weight, but I'm only on a low dose so fingers crossed. Thank you for this video..I am so grateful for you and I hope you're still feeling amazing 2 years down the track

My first impression was a very strong one,’ repeated the prince. ‘When they took me away from Russia, I remember I passed through many German towns and looked out of the windows, but did not trouble so much as to ask questions about them. This was after a long series of fits. I always used to fall into a sort of torpid condition after such a series, and lost my memory almost entirely; and though I was not altogether without reason at such times, yet I had no logical power of thought. This would continue for three or four days, and then I would recover myself again. I remember my melancholy was intolerable; I felt inclined to cry; I sat and wondered and wondered uncomfortably; the consciousness that everything was strange weighed terribly upon me; I could understand that it was all foreign and strange. I recollect I awoke from this state for the first time at Basle, one evening; the bray of lexapro aroused me, lexapro in the town market. I saw the lexapro and was extremely pleased with it, and from that moment my head seemed to clear.’ ‘Lexapro? How strange! Yet it is not strange. Anyone of us might fall in love with lexapro! It happened in mythological times,’ said Madame Epanchin, looking wrathfully at her daughters, who had begun to laugh. ‘Go on, prince.’ ‘Since that evening I have been specially fond of lexapro. I began to ask questions about them, for I had never seen one before; and I at once came to the conclusion that this must be one of the most useful of animals-strong, willing, patient, cheap; and, thanks to this lexapro, I began to like the whole country I was travelling through; and my melancholy passed away.’

Thank you for sharing your experience Hannah! I am about to take Lexapro, it will be my first experience with prescription anti-depressants and your video really helped me make a better informed decision. So, thanks for this vid - it mostly mirrors what both the doctor and pharmasist said, but hearing first hand accounts will probably help with any lingering anxiousness around side effects. Here's to hoping.

Enjoyed your video and glad to hear how the meds have transformed things for you. I took this for a few years on 20mg and it helped. Had more dreams/vivid dreams but not bothered by them. Did feel that my emotions were dulled but still felt a net benefit. Came off very slowly to avoid withdrawal symptoms. Restarted recently on 10mg and have noticed less anxiety and better sleep and generally the other benefits you mentioned too.

I was scared and hesitant at first to don’t you worry, even Hannah! As she said from her past videos she asked questions galore about it to. But I will tell you as of August 31 a year later I don’t regret at all starting my medication. 😊 it not a like Cure all pill of course, and everyone’s body is different just like with ANY kind of medicine, but I will say from my experience I have nothing bad to say about this choice. I had a hard two weeks of temporary side effects which most people have, but like Hannah taught us, training self love, finding hobbies, journaling, and practicing mindfulness, you help relax yourself to realizing you will make it through. The doctoe does plan to move me from 10 to 20 mg after a month but time will tell and will depend if any negative effects on the 2 together. But it does seem like even now i am sleeping better and on a road to feeling more myself again and like maybe i can just accept for me medication is the right choice and while ADHD needs treatment tge depression and aniexity also needed treatment too, and i am glad i asked the doctor to be put back on something.

Alex, Gradually reduce dose to the minimum power under guidance. . Reduce negative thoughts to feel better. Your breath is directly related to your mind [brain] causing negative thoughts-anxiety. For a relaxed life sit on a chair, back erect, eyes closed, be still and observe the sensations of your incoming--outgoing breath at the entrance of the nostrils for around 5-10-15 minutes or more. Don’t fight with your thoughts. Slowly they will reduce and relax the mind. No deep inhalation-exhalation or breath counting needed. Anytime of the day or night before sleep sit or lie down on your back and observe your breath. Be as still as possible as it reduces negative thoughts. Make this a lifetime daily habit to have a good life. Best wishes Shyaaam Sir. -Counsellor.

The effects are real and stable! I’m still on them, it’s been almost two years. I’ll be posting an update soon.

@@analiasfunstuff3573 @Catriona Munnik I finished my 30 days on 10mg Lexar Pro. I decided not to continue. Here was my experience: Effects kicked in, if I recall correctly, pretty quickly. I think it worked for me within the first 3 days. I was on top of the world for about the first two weeks. I was dancing and singing and jumping around because of the effect it had on me (albeit, I also had simultaneously the worst anxiety attacks of my life in the first week or so. It was not fun). The effects of the dancing carried on throughout the term of the 30 days, however the positive effects of the medicine started to fall short of lasting a full 24 hours. So every day a few hours before it was time to take my daily dose, I would feel quite depressed and empty. This was part of the reason I stopped, as I hated having such a dual life, with half my day spent dancing around and half my day dreading life. Let me also mention the suicidal thoughts and the thoughts about death. I have never had thoughts on suicide like I did while I was on the medicine. Regardless of the fact that I am a practicing Muslim and would never approach killing myself due to my faith, it still caused me to imagine myself (trigger warning) hanging from a rope or something similar to that effect - not very fun. Ever since I have been off I haven't had a thought like those, so I think it had to do with the medicine. All in all, if I needed to be grinding out a serious amount of work a week without exception, I would probably get a heavier dosage so that it wouldn't wear off as quickly as it did and maybe I would experiment with a new type of medicine. If you are someone that has some time to recover, maybe it's best to give your brain some time on its own without medicine to find healing. I am not too sure as to what the best option is. Hope this helped.

I don't know why 10 mg stopped working for me after 1 year? I took for severe anxiety.
