Tokito is strong indeed since he is a descendant of the First breathing swordsmen. so, he also has the inherited talents along with his harsh and hard training. These make him exceptional among other Hashiras in his own way. But in this fight, Upper 5 was also so full of himself, which comes from his personality. So, Tokito's "Mark's" boost in strength didn't even give the chance to Gyokko to use his full strength. You should also know that the Upper Moons' number doesn't necessarily indicate their strengths. As like Gyutaro, who was definitely stronger than Gyokko, regardless of comparing his strength to Hantengu's, but as Muzan said, it was because of Daki that Gyutaro stayed lower. That's why the fight with Gyutaro was that much more intense. It seems like the more demons don't keep and hold to their old human traits, the more they will be like Muzan, a true and absolute demon and vice-versa. The more they hold and keep what they held dear as humans before, the more they will be unlike a true demon (at least in Muzan's eyes).

Yeah, I totally think Gyutaro was stronger than Gyokko too. Would've loved to see more of the fight and what he could really do.

The Demon Slayer Mark is a game changer in the fight.
@DaMagician1027 күн бұрын
Remember a couple episodes ago Upper 5 didn’t even have to try. Just puts Tokito into a prison pot. Even as he breaks free and he is about to die. When the mark activated it gave him a huge boost in strength thus allowing him to make 5 look weak. Tengen and Gyuatro was such a great fight because they were pretty much even. Gyokko wasn’t upper 5 for nothing. It’s just that mark is a huge buff.
@CheesySalmon26 күн бұрын
I wouldn’t say UM5 didn’t have to try. People always say that UM5 dealt with Muichiro quickly but tend to forget that Muichiro was basically handicapped when the fight started. Muichiro was using a chipped old sword and got poisoned protecting Kotestu and Kanamori. For all we know had he been using his new sword and with Kotestu and Kanamori not being there, the fight could have gone extremely differently in the beginning.

@ I see what you mean but respectfully have to disagree. All about the mark
@Davinci_and_Bruixa25 күн бұрын
Yeah, you’re totally right, the awakening of the mark changed the game completely. We gotta give Gyokko some credit.

@@CheesySalmon Bro, it's all about the Mark, just like how Tanjiro was fighting with a chipped sword the whole time but the Mark gave him the boost to finally decapitate Gyutaro, it's the same thing with Muichiro, even if Kotetsu and Kanamori wasn't there and Muichiro didn't get poison and wasn't imprisoned, he won't beat Gyokko without the Mark, a single touch from Gyokko's final form would have turned Muichiro into fishes instantly just like how a part of his shirt got turned into fishes but since the mark also gave him a speed boost, he was able to avoid turning into a fish but BARELY. A non-marked Muichiro would not even make it to Gyokko's final form and even if he did, he won't be able to avoid being touched and turn to fishes. It's also the reason why Gyokko was just underestimating Muichiro even though he's a Hashira because he hasn't fought anyone with a mark, the last marked slayers were from 300 years ago and Gyokko is estimated to be around 264 years.
@CheesySalmon5 күн бұрын
@@KillberZomL4D42494 There’s still a huge difference between Tanjiro using a relatively new sword that’s been chipped and Muichiro using an old sword that’s been chipped from a Training doll that is centuries old. I do agree that without the Mark he wouldn’t have been able to beat Gyokko but my original comment was answering Op on his statement that Gyokko « didn’t have to try » which is why I mentioned that Mui was severely handicapped at the beginning of that fight.

The Demon Slayer mark makes a huge difference like others have said. If you remember last seasosn when Tanjiro was able to cut off Gyutaro's head it's because he activated his mark and the resulting power boost allowed him to cut through UM6's neck pretty easily.
@Davinci_and_Bruixa25 күн бұрын
You’re absolutely right about that, Tanjiro was able to cut off his head thanks to the mark, and he’s still not at Hashira level, so it makes sense that Muichiro being a Hashira, could cut off his head so easily with the awakening of the mark... I think it’s more about the speed of the fight after experiencing such a long and intense battle like the one with the Upper 6

A demon who has lived for hundreds of years is constantly provoked and provoked by a 14year old boy.🤣 I'm starting to find Gyokko more and more cute. 🤣 Gyokko is not weak. It's just that Muichiro, now awakened with the appearance of the birthmark, is even stronger. Just as Tengen was the best match for Gyutaro, Muichiro was the best match for Gyokko. The scene where Muichiro bursts into tears the moment he sees Kyojuro's sword guard is beautiful. Muichiro has fond memories of Kyojuro as a kind and reliable man. 🫶
@Davinci_and_Bruixa25 күн бұрын
It’s so funny how Muichiro just messes with Gyokko haha! 🤣🤣 Yeah, I know the mark makes him stronger, so that’s how he beats him so easy in the end but still, it was so quick compared to the Sixth Upper Moon, it felt way too easy haha 😅 I love that they keep showing Kyojuro… he left a mark on everyone ❤
@くれ-c4r27 күн бұрын
Gyokko was not weaker than Gyutaro. Gyokko's number(5) has a higher than Gyutaro(6). In other words, It means that Gyutaro and Daki didn't have the ability to win the swap battle with Gyokko. Please remember that without Kotetsu's help and the awakening of his mark, Muichiro would have lost while trapped in the Water Prison Bowl. He could beat Gyokko because His power has increased significantly with his mark. (Did you notice that when Muichiro escaped from the Water Prison Bowl with Kotetsu's help, the mark was visible on his face?) In other words, Gyokko has the enough power to beat a Hashira that doesn't have a mark. On the other hand, Gyutaro was on equal terms with Tengen, who didn't have a mark until the end. I think Gyokko is underestimated because of Muichiro's awakening of his mark.
@Davinci_and_Bruixa25 күн бұрын
Yeah totally, you’re right about that. I think Muichiro's mark awakening makes us underestimate Gyokko, especially since the battle ends so fast. It’s a shame, I would’ve loved to see more fighting or for the situation to get more complicated like it was with Tengen and Gyutaro.

Like you, I prefer the 6th Upper Moon over the 5th, and even the 4th. The 6th Upper Moon is the best for me so far... It was very difficult to defeat him, even with a Hashira and three Demon Slayers it was difficult... But some say that Tokito is stronger than Tenjin and with the activation of the mark he became much stronger so we didn't feel the power of the 5th Upper Moon, but still I prefer the 6th Upper Moon, he was serious in fighting and serious in protecting his sister, plus the fact that his sister had to be beheaded and his own at the same time, so I don't think a single Hashira could defeat such a demon!! ... And remember what Muzan said, the 6th Upper Moon was strong but his weak point was his sister."
@Davinci_and_Bruixa25 күн бұрын
Totally agree! Not even getting into who's stronger, but overall I think the design and backstory of the Upper 6 is the best and my favorite so far. Plus the battle from last season was crazy!

Muichiro is definitely more gifted than Tengen, even in base form. So much so in fact Tengen praised him the prior season as a prodigy who made Hashira in two months. For perspective, it took Tanjiro two years just to get ready to pass final selection 💀

Unfortunately, the animators did not reveal the full potential of the fight between Muichiro and Gyokko; in the manga it was a more intense battle.

Bro literally that battle was two panels, how intense? 😂😂😂 Tokito beat Gyokko easily because they wanted to show how much the brand improves the user

@@Basss0174The blood demon art that Gyokko uses in its final form "Deadly War Scales" or something like that, in the manga it is seen that it is a frenzied attack where Gyokko hits in all directions, destroying trees and the ground itself. In the anime, Gyokko just foolishly circles around Tokito, it's not faithful to the manga in that sense. Yes, the idea of this battle was to demonstrate the powerful boost that the mark gives to the Hashira, but honestly the animators didn't want to put a little more "love" into the fight. A sequence where Gyokko and Muichiro were fighting frantically in the forest, destroying trees and everything around them would have been great. Since, in the end it would end up the same. (Muichiro defeating Gyokko) An example of this is the final battle between Uzui/Gyutaro. In the manga, once Uzui activates his technique, he lunges at Gyutaro's neck and then Tanjiro follows him, and that's it. In the anime, we saw the length of the fight. I think that's what he's referring to.
