I only have two real complaints about this update . 1) randoms got worse. Hypercharge gives players a sense of invincibility that they just rush in more than before. Sure you can make cool plays and team wipe, but you have to be smart and patient to time it correctly. Something randoms never were able to to before, so I’m not expecting it now. 2) Hypercharge is great on some brawlers, but not others. We only get to see it on 6 brawlers. And of those 6, one is really good, three are good, one is ok, and one is bad. Bulls Hypercharge is great, it fits him perfectly and enhances his playability. Colts, Shellys and Spikes’ Hypercharge are good. They take a while and practice to get used. Because of the speed buff it’s hard to land shots, but after practice those brawlers are better. Pearl is a new brawler, so I’m just going based on my first impressions. Currently I’ve completed the changes 6 times. I’ve played with Pearl at least 40 matches it seems. Pearl is a balanced brawler to me. Not weak and not OP like Cordelius was upon release. That being said, since she’s a new brawler I can only say that her Hypercharge is Ok. I have no previous play time to compare her too. Using her Hypercharge gives her a buff, but doesn’t seem overpowering, so I think it’s just OK. Then there’s Jacky’s Hypercharge. It just feels like using Jacky’s speed gadget. It doesn’t feel good. The only way it complements Jacky is that she’s a bad brawler and her Hypercharge is bad too, so they both are bad together. Jacky’s Hypercharge is like adding decals on your car and saying it adds horsepower, it’s all for show.

This update is actually mostly bad in my opinion don't hate me let me explain: Hypercharge was way too hyped for it to just be an overpriced overpowered aggressive gadget... I hate siege no explanation needed They literally removed 3 popular game modes of rotation for literal siege but at least they're at the weekends Soloshowdown is in shambles of teaming and terrible maps and instead of fixing it they removed good maps keeping the bad ones and some other new ones. There's more just not on the top of my head right now. The change of the balance so when u rank up it's now 10% instead of 5% is one of the worst changes. Not only it just confuses the players since all the stats are now changed a bit and it will be hard to get used to the numbers of the 70+ numbers now but it gives an even bigger disadvantage to your brawlers if in lower ranks, forcing you to level them up to be playable also nerfing progression technically. Also this isn't perfect balance since brawlers with bigger stats got added more stats then brawlers with lower stats, there is a change and the meta will shift just because of this probably tanks with high HP and DMG are stronger now which is okay depends on how strong and stuff we'll wait and see BUT the new skins are some of the best skins in my opinion and the hypercharge's effects and new cosmetics are insane like with even new death effects like bro that's insane so this makes this update not that bad Chuck also seems extremely fun like a new Mortis just hope he won't be bad and Pearl is okay but might be a bit broken but great brawlers The new starrdrops things like x2 event and the free mythic stardrop are really great I do hope for a buff to them in the future as economy is nerfed and now even more with this update. The new level ups animations and change of the gear slots is a massive W it looks very cool and is way better. Thanks for reading this is my opinion feel free to debate in the comments I can say I trust the brawl team to fix the mess and hopefully next update the game will improve, I've been playing it way less since the update not intentionally btw just something is off and not as enjoyable. I hope hypercharge gets reworked into like a new abitlity for each brawler that's unlocked at rank 11 and it will be like a new super a different kind of mega ability which is way better than just a few seconds of boost to stats and a bit to super.

I feel like supercell was just experimenting with the hypercharges since only 6 brawlers have them and you cant get them from starrdrops until october, also they are banned from the october qualifiers. The skins are good but some of them feel kinda overpriced, like raider cordelius, nerd squeak and lunar janet. I think raider cordelius and nerd squeak should be super rare skins and lunar janet should be an epic skin.
