I use what there is convenient to use as you saw (maybe) when i do kienzan in ssjb and then tp behind while timing the kienzan so the opponent is stunned. That's just prediction and critical thinking. You learn dose by just fighting yourself, you can't just repeat what someone else dose. You need to learn how to do it instinctively.
