(One must fall!) Subriel Matias denies pricing out of Haney Fight! Bill Haney Responds! Let's Fight!

Less three three days after becoming the 140 pound WBC Super Champ, Devin Haney is now alleging interest in possibly facing the Boogie man of the 240 pound division IBF Super Champ Subriel Matias. There was some confusion about who Bill Haney spoke with in regards of the 4 million dollar demand from Subriel Matias Camp. However, During the Boxing Voice podcast Bill Haney spoke directly with Subriel Matias trainer and expressed interest in giving the boxing fans this great event. Here are my thoughts.

I'm inclined to agree that Devin and Subriel are each other's most difficult opponent, and the fight would be very entertaining. We know that Devin is not going to run because he does have skills and believes in them. And we know that Matias always comes to fight. I have no clue who would win but it would definitely be worth a big PPV event. Yes, MSG or some other big venue but not Nevada because they're as crooked as it comes. I've heard that Teo wants the fight in June so both Teo and Haney might have to bid each other out to get the fight, which will benefit Matias if that's the case. But there's also the chance that both are just barking and instead will go for a big payday with Ryan. We'll see.

Devin will rehydrate and enter the ring close to 160lbs. He is 5'10 walking around at 180lbs. Who has the advantage? Devin is a middleweight at least, just like Ryan. Tank should fight with rehydration clause. Haney is a weight bully, Cherry picker. There's a reason he left 135 in the middle of negotiations with Shakur. Even as big as he is, he wants no smoke with Tank, hence the lack of offers sent in all of these years he's been calling him out.
