This is GoW 2018. It's much more streamlined in GoWR plus opinions exist & ER has it's own issues.

Would rather fight Valkyrie Queen Sigrun from GoW4 a million more times again than fight Malenia, Elden Ring's balancing is absolute garbage at the end game. It's good otherwise but how are you gonna talk about God of War when there's a very fair arguement for that. FromSoft added NPC markers to the map, only realizing after releasing the game that no one would reasonably find NPC's (that they often aren't directly told where they will be) in a massive open world game (which is beautiful don't get me wrong) but full of nonstop running across the map pass pretty boring areas on repeat playthroughs (minus the legacy dungeons, loved those) to progress a game that ultimately is only as long as like a median playthrough of Dark Souls 1 or 3 but stretched a mile long by content that varies in quality even more than DS1's latter half. Love Elden Ring but if I were made to choose, I'd pick God of War.
