Very well explained Sir! Great Video! As you said both sides of the problem. Rather than criticizing a issue. Benefits: 1) A Voter need to spend only one day for National and State Election. 2) 2019 Election cost for Government is around 60,000 Crore. All extra election increases the spending. It will get reduced. 3) Money can be used for some benefitable schemes than for conducting Elections 4) Around 1 Year before elections, most politicians gets busy with Politics than Governance works. So India's growth get impacted. No crucial bills will get passed, all unwanted issues pops up. 5) Lot of political dramas will end. Like Hate Speeches, Freebies, subsidies, cases against leaders election time dramas bla bla. 6) Short term politics can be avoided. Just for election winning parties will give up subsides, offers etc. Problems 1) One Nation, One Election continued in India from 1952 till 1967, it breaked due to presidency rules in some states. 2) If Center fails or state fails before 5 years term, how one nation one vote is possible ? 3) More Elections, more democracy, less elections, less democracy. 4) Election expenses may increase more, as since it's one time. Every party will spend a lot to get it. 5) Issue which is more popular like border wars, Civil Rights, may change results of election, than local issues like No water, roads not good etc.

Very well explained. My personal view is that the pros of the concept of ONOE are more than it's cons. Looking at the accountability problem, most of the parties give freebies during their pre poll promise which is anyway not good for our economy. Another problem that you mentioned is what if the govt doesn't run for its full term. In that case, the newly formed govt can run for the remaining time only. This will also have the advantage that the people and parties will try very hard to form a stable govt.

Set up the miles stone at 5 Years time period. (1)Means 2024,2029 etc. Than around that time period INCREASE/DECREASE tenor of the Govt.(Central/State). Re-election can't be done if (1) the next election is scheduled in less than 2 years.[President rule] If Current Govt is step down from it's post Re-election will be done but the time period will change. 1> new govt time will decrease/increase. or 2> all the states time period will change correspondence to central govt.

Thanku so for this great piece of information sir. Just one thing , wanted to point out that is, your approch of teaching. I mean, ik this is very vague thing to say but the way you said "sir" so often, it is as if you are only teaching some "sir". This might be very small thing to point out but trust me, for some audiences like me, this can really make them, turning off the video bcoz of this. So please make it neutral video. cons are much more serious than pros, a central wave might certainly overshadow states regional issues, and regional parties will face a huge blow, also lets say after simultaneous elections, a party comes in with absolute majority, then the opposition will be more weaker and will loose relevance as no other grounds to be tested, But decision highly depends on the options/recommendations in case of presidents rule or successful no confidence motions

This may be a solution for this problem As we know that their is three layer ruling system in our country except Bengal(4 layer). so, we can organize election three times for three layers ruling system in whole Bharat. What if someone wants to elect the MP of one party but the MLA of the other party ? Will there be different votes each for MP and MLA ? Please someone clear this doubt of mine.

One suggestion I think only leaders of local region should be allowed for advertisement instead of leaders of same party but different states
