I heard my sister was saying he is very funny when he was young with jokes as he is our village , I think his passion is jokes when he was young. Good morning Maluk la, I think you are in a wrong profession!!! Remember you said you have many sleepless nights. I guess, you found your solution…. Haha Anyway, I want to say that I missed your show on August 22nd. I was in Pocono spending my last day with my daughter. She preferred spending time there & we did have good time. Honestly, this is the BEST ever Tibetan comedy show in my life. I am found of watching comedy shows of all Tibetans & others too. But your delivery was amazing & kept me enthralled, mindful, full of substantive messages… Now that was “demure”. You kept me laughing by butts off. This should be not just your bucket list, but you should do more often. I remember, three of you did that comedic gigs long time back in Ukraine Hall. That time it was good too but due to large crowds with bad sound system, it was quite challenging to enjoy full. Don’t get me wrong, Tendor La & Sonam Wangdue were awesome too. I am so proud of all three of you as a friend & TCVian. I will definitely not vote “maluk” for you interms of Sikyong or Chitue for now, definitely vote “luk” for best comedian of Tibetan. If you stand for Sikyong or Chitue in future, I may vote “Gyab luk” …. Haha Pardon me if I made any mistakes. .... Pema W

Our tradition emphasizes kindness and non-harm, where our words speak love and understanding, not hurt or offense. Using bad language or words like "sala" or engaging in vulgar comedy does not represent who we are. We are rich in language and humor, with plenty of ways to make people laugh without resorting to disrespectful or crude expressions. When comedy uses vulgar language, it only serves to degrade its value and cheapen the content. Let us remember that true humor comes from a place of respect, intelligence, and positivity, in line with our cultural values.

24:42 You probably didn't understand the word Luk having multiple meaning based on the context. Here he the word is used for both casting a vote as well as guy having sex with lady. It can also mean insert or fill in. Lang refers to standup as candidate for election and also mean erection. It also mean get up from bed or chair etc.
